POOL HEATING:

For guests visiting during cooler months who would like warmer swimming temperatures, optional pool heating is available for a flat $300 per stay. Pool heating requires at least 48 hours notice prior to arrival to allow sufficient time for the water to reach temperature.

When heated, the pool is set to approximately 83°F and maintained during daytime hours (the heater runs during the day to maintain temperature). Please note that a heated pool is not the same temperature as a hot tub and may feel cooler on chilly mornings or evenings during the winter months.

Without heating, pool water temperature generally follows the overnight weather rather than the daytime high. Even on sunny 80–85°F days, the pool can still feel quite cool if overnight temperatures are in the 40s–50s.

Pool heating involves significant natural gas usage and startup time, so the fee is a flat rate per stay regardless of the number of nights reserved.

Pool heating is most commonly requested during October–November and March–May, when daytime temperatures are warm but the pool water can still feel cool without heating.

In warmer months, the house can be cooled to 72 degrees.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets of any kind or service animals due to health issues of our family members that stay at the property from time to time.

Our cleaners leave paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry pods, toilet paper to get most guests through several night stays. Linens, towels, beach towels are provided.


From mid June through mid September Phoenix has a monsoon season (for real!). These storms roll through quickly but can bring very strong winds, rains and dust that can cause debris and leaves to get into the pool. We have weekly pool service and our pool person tries to get out as quickly as possible after these storms to clear the pool but we cannot guarantee they will be able to get there in between their regular weekly maintenance!
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be within walking distance of Mesa Community College. Enjoy features like an outdoor pool, 1 hot tub and laundry facilities. A private pool and a kitchen are available in the holiday home.

We checked in later in the day, so initially was a little bit disappointed (would have presented a bit better in the daytime). BUT, once we got into the next day and the kids got in the pool we really warmed up to the place! The bifold window between the kitchen and patio is a really nice touch. Was a nearly constant pool party with the kids the whole time we were there. Given the right opportunity, I would strongly consider booking this location again. Easy access to shopping, restaurants etc. Thanks to the property owners for prompt responses to any questions!

Great Stay!

We stayed at the property for our son's graduation and the layout was great for our extended family. Perfect location for everything we wanted to do. Check-in was easy, communcication was great! Visit to Tempe, AZ

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in Tempe! The house was comfortable with many bedrooms for our family. The kids also enjoyed the heated pool. The location was convenient for us as we have friends that live in Tempe but you’d definitely want a car to get around to see the many things Phoenix has to offer. Spring training get away

The property was as nice as it looks in the pictures. I traveled with a group of 6 25 year olds and everything was perfect for us. Our favorite part was the slide open window from the kitchen out to the backyard with a bar on the outside. We used this feature everyday, and coming from the midwest, this really allowed us to experience the perfect warm weather everyday.

We have never been to Phoenix and it did not disappoint! The hosts Joe & Emily, are an absolute pleasure and were available for any questions and comments we had throughout our two week stay.The area is safe and close to a lot of stores and shops.
