Excellent Family Getaway

My family and friends stayed at the home for four nights and enjoyed the vacation getaway. The house was clean and tidy, and the backyard pool and putting green provided wonderful entertainment. The communication with the property management was great.

Spring break getaway

Our family, including two teenagers stayed at this property mid-March for 4 nights while in AZ for Spring Training. We loved the location - so close to so many great restaurants and shopping! The space was immaculate and well-arranged with entertainment space on one side of the house and bedrooms on the other. The backyard was fun too...kids loved the putting greens and would have enjoyed the pool more had it been warmer. We would stay again!

Very pleased

Great house to stay at, especially for a family. We loved the layout and the backyard was perfect for our son. We didn't get to enjoy the pool due to the weather, but the mini golf area was so fun along with the bonfire. The best collection of dishes, cups and cookware we have experienced in all of our vacation stays. Very clean and the snacks and water upon arrival was a nice touch and much appreciated after a long day of travel.

Outdoor oasis

LOVED this property. The host has thought of everything. The home was immaculate and spacious. Outdoor mini golf and corn hole was fun for our group during downtime. Plenty of TVs and comfortable living spaces. Hope to stay again on my next trip to Scottsdale.

Great home for families/Close to everything

The home is bright and decorated nicely. The outdoor space is one of the big perks! Our family loved the outdoor pool, seating areas, putting green, pool (especially with the heat on). The home is in a great location for getting around Phoenix/Scottsdale. If we are back in the area again, we will look to rent the same property again.

We stayed at this house because we had a family member who had major surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Our 11 day stay was the perfect respite for our family especially for the hospitalized family member who had to stay in the area for another week upon discharge. The house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, very walkable with restaurants and grocery stores nearby.The house had plenty of space and lots of amenities to facilitate our stay. The kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated the basic entry items that were provided like coffee, laundry and dishwasher detergent, etc. which lasted throughout our stay. Although we did not use the pool, we did spend time in the backyard and used the putting green.The host was very responsive and sent immediate help when we had a problem with the dishwasher.We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.

Clean & Serene

Very much enjoyed Desert Paradise. Very clean, safe, and quiet. The communication process made everything run smoothly, and it's close to a lot of shopping and activities. Driving around Scottsdale is easy, so book with confidence. We stayed in early November, so I highly recommend having the pool heated.

Well-maintained and Enjoyable Property

This is an excellent home for fun with your family or friends. Well maintained, great location and super clean. Only challenge which isn’t advertised is that you will be dealing with a property management company who are helpful but pushy with renting a van from them and have excessive fees for any of the extras. As long as you know that you’re not dealing with the owners directly you should be fine.

Couples retreat

Had a wonderful stay, lovely property. House is updated and had good quality linens. Master bed (the only one we used) was very comfy. One suggestion would be to have some basic staples for the kitchen- salt, pepper, sugar, foil, baggies- there was nothing at all. We travel a lot and stay VRBO often and are used to having basic needs like this at this price point. But even so, the kitchen is well stocked for cookware and appliances and grill was nice. The grill did run out of propane on first use and need a new propane tank, but it was provided, so that was great. Very nice property, would say again!

The house had everything we needed and was perfectly located, close to shopping, restaurants and parks for the kiddo. It was also centrally located between a few Spring Training ball parks. Overall, this was an amazing property with service from the property management company to match. The app for check-in/checkout information and messaging made things very streamlined and easy. This will be the first place we look for on our next Arizona vacation.

We enjoyed the pool, putting green and other provided entertainment, breakfast outside on the covered patio. Very spacious in common areas and bedrooms. Management provided all essentials we needed for our family vacation. Only thing would be to mention that the listing says 2 bedrooms with a king bed but there is only 1 king bedroom. Something we were banking on with having a few children and babies. As disappointing and inconvenient as that was, we had an amazing time in Scottsdale and definitely recommend staying at Desert Paradise.

Nice Stay

It was overall a nice stay and I know how important reviews are to owners so these issues were not terrible. However for a 1k deposit you sort of expect perfection. There were no coffee pods, even though they did deliver some after we said something (we already went out and bought some). The screen door was off the track, the garage remotes didn't work, the breaker for the bathroom had to be flipped upon arrival. The second day the code did not work and someone had to give us a key instead of use the key pad. It was not user error as it was not working for the maintenance person either. Aside from these little issues, we had a nice time.
