We had a great stay at the Hideaway. Everything was exactly as described and may have even been nicer in person than the pictures captured. Great coffee shop almost across the street and the shops of Old Scottsdale just a 10 min walk.
This condo was perfect for our stay. Very well remodeled apartment with excellent appliances and furnishing. The beds are very comfortable, and although the remotes are a bit confusing, the TVs in 3 rooms were excellent
Beautiful stay. The apartment is lovely. The beds super comfortable. Great walking distance to Old Town. There is a wonderful coffee shop one block away.
The place was very clean and comfortable. A little hard to find at first. But the host was easy to reach and very responsive to any questions. Great location. Easy walk to the art district and galleries which was my interest.
Our unit was on the 2nd floor (top floor) of the building and was being re-roofed. My group of ladies meet every year somewhere and have a little vacation. This was no vacation! To wake up with loud thuds on the roofâŠwe couldnât even hold a decent conversation. The noise was unbearableâŠloud, building vibration, power tools (mail guns), etc. It started about 7:am and lasted until about 7pm. There was roofing debris all over the grounds making the walk in and out of the complex dangerousâŠelectrical cords to trip over and one of my group is handicapped. We were NOT notified this was going on and if we had been notified we would have chosen another place to rent. I contacted the host and he or she said that they got late notification from the building. I have 2 condo rentals and 2 of my group live in condos. We know that we get notifications about any work being done WAY in advance. Also, the stove would not ignite and I donât think the electrical is legal in this unit either. To turn on/off the kitchen fan light I found the switch in the heater closet. That switch also controlled one of the lights in the bathroom. Can that be legal? Additionally, there were no instructions for the tv and while trying to watch it would freeze and buffer forever. There was no bedside lamp in the bedroom which made using the bathroom in the middle of the night very unsafe. The blinds in the living room and kitchen would not open. An AWFUL stay and I registered a dispute with my cc.
The location was great if you want to be near downtown Scottsdale and Scottsdale stadium. Stayed here for spring training baseball games and we were able to walk to stadium and to nearby restaurants. Nice condo with about 20 units on the property. A little bit of an older complex, so the walls and floors were thin.
Thoughtfully appointed upstairs unit apartment - comfortable kitchen with Keurig coffee, ice maker in freezer, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Dishes, glassware and cookware in good condition. Dinette with 3 chairs. A/C thermostat preprogrammed-would advise to check settings with owner before arrival since late afternoon can get warm. Each room has ceiling fans and bedrooms have additional standing fans. Pool area well maintained. Adjustable bed in one room. Comfortable linens and pillows.
Complex in general was quiet with the exception of one late night party in a nearby unit. We just flipped on the fans and it drowned out the noise.
Unit was a bit tricky to find initially because itâs in an area with multiple apartment complexes and the parking spot is behind the building. Suggest to check in during daylight hours.
We didnât walk the area due to a recent sprained ankle but it was located pretty close to Old Town.
It was a nice unit and recommend it.
This is a great place in the heart of old town Scottsdale! Quiet, centrally located and safe. Host was extremely responsive prior and during our visit, and gave great communication. We would definitely stay here again!
Super clean modern place. All the nice little touches like shampoo/conditioner, potato chips, K cups and more. Huge TV. The best was the reverse osmosis water tap in the kitchen. Texted owner once on a confirmation time and within minutes they responded. Walkable to downtown with all the bars and restaurants. I will book again! Thanks.
Was in town for a golf trip and needed a quick place to crash for one night. This location was great, walking distance to Old Towne. Communication was great.
It was great for what we needed for this trip - a place to quickly access old Scottsdale. It could have been cleaner, but overall it wasnât bad. The host made access very easy and we hand no hiccups in the process, so that was very nice.
We stayed for 5 nights and had a very nice stay. It was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great! Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The living room couch was comfy and allowed us to relax and watch movies. There is a great outdoor space. We walked to Chadwickâs market for a glass of wine and Dole Whip most days. It wasnât warm enough to swim when we were there, but we did sit in the pool chairs to enjoy the sunshine.
We were walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale, which we love. A ton of great shops and restaurants.
The owner was very responsive and we would definitely stay again.
Only con is if you want sunshine, you need to sit by the pool in the morning. All afternoon the pool is shaded. We did move the pool chairs outside the pool fence to continue enjoying the sun.
