This cabin is fairly new and very clean. It is conveniently located near Dollywood and the Parkway but also secluded enough for pleasant walks. Five out of five stars.
We enjoyed our two-night stay while we visited Dollywood. The location is very convenient for restaurants and attractions. Like other reviews, I would recommend privacy screening for the hot tub area. The home was extremely clean, well-stocked, and a perfect fit for a family of four traveling with a pet. I would recommend having a bench or luggage racks for the bedrooms so you don't have to put your luggage on the floor and extra coat hangers for the closets. Overall a nice rental and would recommend it.
Nice, clean location. On a map it looks like it's in the city, but it is hidden in a very wooded area. We loved the front porch and easy, free parking!
My family enjoyed our stay, the cabin was super close to all the hot spots in Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be returning in the fall when the leaves change
Wonderful house in a great spot! Weâve been vacationing in this area for 25 yrs and this house was by far the best yet. Really close to the parkway but quiet and it was equipped with everything we needed. Smoky Vistas was great to work with. The employees were friendly and professional. Weâll definitely be returning customers!
The property was so beautiful, everything around us was peaceful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept it. Me and my significant other will 100% come here again next time. Beautiful getaway. 10/10 <3
What a great stay for our family of 4! Just a moment from the Parkway, but secluded enough to be away from the chaos of the Parkway⊠it was a PERFECT âhome base for us.â We enjoyed hiking in the Smokies, Parkway activities, heading north to the forbidden caverns, Dollywood, 4th of July at the Old Mill, mountaintop experiences, pancake houses galore, Gatlinburg, and snuggling up for late night movies at the end of incredibly fun-filled days. Memories for a lifetime!
The property was beautiful and the location is primo. That was the good part.
When you are in the rental business, there are 4 things that must work and work properly:
1. AC/Heat
2. Water
3. Television
4. Refrigerator
Everything else is gravy.
I specifically stated at time of rental and then again when I was called by Smoky Vista that they needed to insure the AC was working properly. I had two small children in my party and I am very heat intolerant. I was assure that everything was in operating order.
We arrive on Sunday night at 4 pm and the cabin was 77 degrees. We turned down the thermostat to 72 and left for dinner. We arrived back at cabin at 730 and the temp was 79 degrees! I contacted Smoky Vista on the emergency number and was given a lot of things to try. I told Marie that the air was NOT working (the unit was not running) and only hot air was being circulated by the fan. She then told me that I could talk with owners and possibly get a reduced rate, etc. By this time I am livid. I told Marie to either get a repairman out or find us another place to stay!
After several calls, repairman arrived at 815. The drip pan was FULL which had auto shut off the unit. They repaired that and then the unit still would only cut off and on. They finally loaded the unit with freon and it began to cool down after about 1.5 hours. They did all this work in the pouring rain, lightning, and thunder.
I say all this because I specifically asked that the AC be checked prior to our arrival as we've had issues with other trips in the past and this is a real problem for me. The unit had not been operating properly for weeks according to the repairmen.
Also - the TV programming in the package they had is terrible - it was like we had stepped back in time (only old shows).
The master tub didn't drain properly either.
If you choose to be in the rental business, please check these items routinely and repair what isn't working. And don't say everything is good when in fact you haven't checked.
PS - the book inside the house where people had signed in stated that the AC was not working in April 2022.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. Clean cabin and everything was as advertised. My only recommendation would be a small privacy fence in the back to help block view of neighbors while in the hot tub. That is minor though. I would stay here again.
Amazing hosts who make sure you have everything you need! They communicate well and respond promptly. The cabin was very clean and tidy. Itâs so close to everything and yet so privately tucked away to give you some quiet time. Our family enjoyed staying at the cabin and would definitely stay here again. I recommend this cabin for families. Itâs so clean!
The cabin is fairly new so itâs perfectly clean and the host was attentive, responsive, and provided multiple contact channels, so I expect the cabin will continue to be well maintained for years to come. The location is also great! Itâs tucked on a hillside in the woods near similar cabins and a golf course, while still being just a short drive (2-3 minutes) away from town. The area is quiet and and family friendly with low and slow traffic from residents and other guests, so your kids can play outside without much worrying about passing vehicles.
This cabin is tucked away and only a few blocks from the main drag in Pigeon Forge with no noise from the strip making it to the cabin. Other properties and housing are close, but still very quiet and private. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Parking right in front of the cabin. Great place for a getaway. Close to "The Spur" for easy access to Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. On a side note...VERY thankful for the hair dryer as I had forgotten to bring mine! KUDOS to the owners for putting this in the cabin as well as the starter items (shampoo, conditioner, dish and laundry detergent, etc...) in the bathrooms and kitchen! We had a wonderful weekend stay and would book again.
This was the perfect cabin for us (2 retired couples). The cabin was clean and just as in the pictures. The location gave us easy assess to Dollywood, golf, and hiking the Smokey mountains. Would absolutely stay there again.
