, my husband and I picked your hotel to stay in on October 25 - October 28. We didn't have a very good stay. We didnt really find the hotel too clean first of all but overlooked. First morning there we noticed brushing our teeth etc, the sink get clogged up, overlooked it cause it seemed like a small issue. Second night we were there and the third night we had to go to the front desk to get a plunger cause the toilet got plugged up both nights. Also the third night is when all the small things became big matters, we were awoken by something pounding very loud nonstop @ 3 A M. Called the front desk to see if there was any other complaints, which never was answered she just kept saying she went out and couldn't hear anything etc etc. It was raining that night and id say it was something over flowing onto the metal roof which nonetheless whatever it was seemed like something that could and should be fixed. There's no excuse for anything to be that loud at a hotel that actually wakes up customers. That next morning I woke up to wash my hair etc and realized the room cleaners actually left us 3 lotions and a bodywash vs a bodywash, a shampoo, a conditioner, and a lotion. So not enough conditioner for my hair. Told the front desk all this and she said more than once that since we got a "discount" thru Expedia that we pretty much didnt deserve another discount for all then inconveniences we had. Well sorry that you guys feel like that since we booked from a discounted website

Upon check in we walked up to the room on the 3rd floor, Poorly lit hallways. Hard to tell if the floors were dirty or clean. The room wreaked of heavy cleaner, probably to mask other odours. The bathroom had dirt and debris in the corner of the bathtub that was hair, dirt and dust. The walls had holes in the walls near the bed and the a/c unit. The balcony had looked like it had not been cleaned for months, bird crap all over the window sills, peeling paint. The overall appearance of the room with lack of lighting made the room seem dirty and unkept. The cabinet door to the fridge did not close properly. The carpets looked dirty as well. We left after checking in 2 hours earlier. The smell from the cleaner was nauseating. Would not stay here EVER again. Did not receive a refund or was offered any compensation other than moving to a new room. We have travelled extensively al over the US and this is the first hotel that we have had a bad experience in when using Hotels.com. Not sure who has been giving them 8 plus on reviews, maybe relatives of the owners?????

The front desk staff was superb! Pretty clean although I did find a hair on our sheets. After thoroughly inspecting both beds, I do think it probably just fell off the staff member changing sheets. They did SEEM clean. My biggest complaint is that housekeeping leaves after a certain time and you can’t get certain items like an extra pillow. You’re out of luck. I desperately needed one last night for neck pain and with 4 people, we were already using the ones we had. Other than that, parking was great, good location, etc.

Worn out.

This hotel is not very old and it’s worn. It smells like cinnamon when you walk in and I can not stand that smell. The carpets are worn, the doors worn, it’s beat up bad. The elevators look like the ones in a NYC subway, and the towels had stains. One trash can and dust everywhere. Breakfast was mediocre but I never rate a stay on food. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Service was great. It was quiet! Would not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Pigeon Forge. The hotel is a little older but renovated, our rooms were nice and clean. We got super lucky and scored a Riverside view. The sound of the water was so relaxing and it was fun to watch the ducks and geese. The hot breakfast was great. The pool was heated and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
