Communication was outstanding! The cabin was clean and well equipped for all of our needs. The instructions for TVs and other things was helpful along with labeling of light switches. We enjoyed watching lots of deer in the front yard and in the back.

Stayed in December, the home was tastefully designed, cozy and comfortable. Well stocked, Karen the host was very responsive with our every request/question making sure we have everything. Porch swing was our favorite watching sunset, sipping coffee, waving at the beautiful group of deer.

Lovely!! This is a wonderful cabin with a fully appointed kitchen. The cabin is as darling as it appears in the pictures. We were in the area to attend a wedding and I appreciated that we had everything we needed. The host communicates well and I knew I could reach her if needed. I only wish we had stayed one more day to relax after all the wedding activities. We would certainly stay here again.

Canoe Cabin

I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at Canoe Cabin. The cabin was well stocked with everything you could need when vacationing. The place also had nice personal touches, making it feel very 'homey.' The outdoor space was great to spend time with family in the evenings. Karen was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I recommend the cabin to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing property. House has everything you need for a great stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had plenty of storage and chargers for phones. THe kitchen was well stocked. Kids loved seeing the deer every day and playing on the swing in the front yard. You wont be disappointed!

LOVED IT!

Our family met at the Canoe Cabin and it did not disappoint! From the minute we found it online to the minute we walked out of the cabin, we loved it! The communication with Karen, the cabin itself, the deer in the backyard, the views and the family memories that were made were amazing!! If you are in the area, stay here!

Beautiful house and property, immaculately clean and was literally stocked with EVERYTHING. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental with cookware, utensils, every spice, flour, sugar and an OATMEAL AND COFFEE BAR. I was even able to make four large batches of baked ziti using the multiple large pots, baking sheets, etc. in the kitchen. The bathrooms have every toiletry, towel, washcloth, and more that you could want. There are multiple areas to relax inside and out and many cozy blankets to snuggle in to. Karen checked in with us after check in to make sure everything was in order and answered all of our questions. My only regret was not knowing that - even though this house has 2 kings and 2 queen beds (with room to sleep 8) - you can never have more than 7 people on the property at a time. Karen explained this is due to their rental license. We also met their pretty grumpy neighbor whom I'm sure keeps this in check. But it was a little sad that I couldn't have my mom over for dinner because my sister and I had our families and we were a total of 7. I'm a rule follower so we worked it out - but it is a bummer that you can't have in-town guests over for a visit. All in all - we will definitely stay here in the future when we are back in town to visit!

Charming character, lovely porches, beautiful yard & outstanding property manager

The “Canoe Cabin” is an outstanding vacation rental property filled with charming character inside and out. The property managers left no stone unturned in providing a thoroughly welcoming guest experience including a fully stocked house, snacks, coffee bar and toiletries. Even the furniture, beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable. The porches were delightful and the yard was beautiful. Thank you Karen for being a wonderful hostess. We will definitely be going again next year.

What a delightful quiet cabin.

We so enjoyed our time here. Absolutely nothing was overlooked to make this time special and comfortable and relaxing. We loved the porch on the front and the back. Enjoyed all the deer. The waterfall. The cozy decor. Comfortable beds. Coffee bar! Oatmeal bar! We ate most meals at home and the kitchen was so easy to cook in. I highly recommend this quiet relaxing cabin.

Beautiful Sweet South Vacation!

We visited Eastern TN for a week with family and a wedding. With the expansive bedroom options, 3 couples stayed comfortably with privacy! The kindness of the hosts is apparant from the excellent communication, attentiveness and special gift for us. I loved the spare amenities should you have forgotten something, which I did! I enjoyed winding down upstairs in the loft in the late evening, it was very relaxing to be "unplugged". Every morning and evenimg we enjoyed the wildlife with the serene sound of a waterfall. I captured so many deer images, saw wild turkeys too! The deer are beautiful and tame. I even have a selfie with a deer! We spent little time inside, it was just too gorgeous and relaxing not to enjoy the many patio options. I loved swinging on the front porch, we even watched fireworks from the porch over the lake! I did have to work a few days, and it was so nice to do so from the back screened in porch, I had the BEST Microsoft Teams background. The decor was very well planned, and the perfect cabin setting. I loved the owl statue! Lastly, the cleanliness was superb. There was not a speck of dust anywhere. Furniture was clean, new, comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend Canoe Cabin and we are so grateful to have enjoyed 8 nights there.

This house was perfect for our stay. Everything you could need to cook was there. The outside space was wonderful as well as the indoors. Log Cabin

My family and I stayed in this beautiful cabin for four days. It is situated in a lovely setting with wonderful landscaping that is well maintained. The owners of the cabin have put a lot of effort into anticipating the needs of their guests. They provided thorough directions for checking in and using the amenities of the cabin. They supplied travel guides and menus from surrounding attractions and nearby restaurants. They also had an ample supply of coffees, drinks, and snacks. The kitchen has everything that could be needed for an enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfortable! They even had a high chair for babies which came in handy for us. We were given a good number of interesting books and games to use during our stay. The screened-in porch is a great place to enjoy watching the deer and birds. There are also comfortable chairs and a porch swing on the front porch. Umbrellas were even left there for our convenience. The cabin has beautiful art work, a great entertainment center, and a fun tree swing. Thank you for helping to make our trip so special!

Flew in from out of state and after being up for over 24 hours this cabin was absolutely so lovely to call home for a week. Karen was so accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Very clean and cozy! I would love to stay there again and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone.
