The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful and can't be faulted at all. The beds were amazingly comfy and the shower was small but powerful. The building is a bit tired and the entrance to the hotel felt unsafe as there were people loitering and smoking weed. So mixed reviews but overall good for one night!

Very convenient for a three night stay. We went to Cinque terre for 2 days, and then rode the train to Civitavecchia for our cruise. Super price, amenities and location. We loved the breakfast.

La Pace did not live up

If you are looking for luxury this is not it. Older property which is cute with real keys to the doors and an old elevator. My If you’re looking for a place close to the train it’s perfect. The ladies at the reception weren’t very from helpful. They didn’t provide any information about the area or the hotel except breakfast. Maybe it was the fact we did not speak Italian, but was a definite disappointment. The room was fine, nothing spectacular but livable. The AC did not work at all and the room was very warm! Had to open the windows to get a breeze. Only the first person in our family of 4 had a hot shower. Not sure what happened with the hot water and we were too exhausted from our travels to go talk with anyone about it. Breakfast was a decent English breakfast. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt and bread were good. The “bacon” was soft and not well cook but that’s kinda normal. I expected more and was disappointed.

Stayed here for our short city break. Hotel was clean, quiet and had an authentic Italian feel. Breakfast was great, offering a large selection. Staff were so friendly. Very convenient location from the city centre and around the corner from the train station. Would stay again!

Location is good for access to Pisa Centrale railway station. Free Breakfast was very good. Rooms need refurbishment. The alleyway leading to the hotel entrance is dirty and I would recommend people to be safety concious in the immediate area

Reasonable

The breakfast quality has deteriorated over recent years. We noticed that there are no longer coffee/tea facilities in the rooms and a general removal of pleasantries that this hotel offered in previous visits. The staff were all delightful as usual.
