SituĂ© Ă  la fin de l'autoroute J Ă  Pittsburg, MO. Cette maison spacieuse est de 2 niveaux (3 chambres, 2 salles de bain) avec un sous-sol complet dĂ©brayage. Cette maison rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e est une courte distance Ă  pied du lac. A l'Ă©tage, vous trouverez 2 chambres avec salon, cuisine, salle Ă  manger et une salle de bain complĂšte. En bas sera 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain, un salon avec canapĂ©-lit, un coin bar avec rĂ©frigĂ©rateur et laveuse / sĂ©cheuse. La maison comprend 1 lit queen-size, 2 lits doubles, 2 lits jumeaux et un canapĂ©-lit gigogne. Nous avons aussi 2 matelas pneumatiques Queen size si nĂ©cessaire pour plus de place. Les deux espaces de vie ont 46" de la tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat avec channeling Dish Network, un lecteur de DVD (y compris une variĂ©tĂ© de DVD). Les jeux de sociĂ©tĂ© sont situĂ©s au sous-sol pour tous les Ăąges, un jeu de flĂ©chettes et une table Ă  cartes de style Vegas avec diffĂ©rents choix de jeux. La cuisine est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un grand rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, cuisiniĂšre, micro-ondes, autocuiseur, grille-pain, cafetiĂšre, mixeur, casseroles et tous les ustensiles dont vous aurez besoin pour toute cuisson ou faire griller. Il y a aussi un grand rĂ©frigĂ©rateur et en bas de la zone armoire. Le pont couvert. 40 pieds face au lac et comprend un propane barbecue (prĂȘt Ă  l'emploi) et suffisamment d'espace pour s'asseoir, se dĂ©tendre et profiter du paysage du lac et beaucoup d'animaux sauvages. La cour arriĂšre comporte Ă©galement une zone de foyer pour les nuits ou beaucoup d'ombre pour se dĂ©tendre juste par une chaude journĂ©e. La maison est Ă  100 mĂštres du bord de l'eau, offre Ă©galement un quai situĂ© sur un front de mer de plage. Beaucoup de place pour les enfants Ă  jouer, nager ou du poisson.

La maison est idéalement situé à .3 miles de la rampe de bateau qui a beaucoup d'espace pour laisser votre remorque à. Une épicerie complÚte de services est situé à 3 miles de distance et station est à seulement 3. 6 miles.

Needs some updates but would be great for a guys fishing weekend

Kelly responded to our issues and gave us a refund on the cleaning fee. Positives:House is well stocked with dishes, linens, wifi works great, and the public boat dock is less than a 5 minute drive. Basement would be great for a poker nightUpstairs couch and chairs are very comfortable, there are tons of extra blankets, the decorations are amazing. The back upper porch was great in the evening for sitting outside and visiting. Negatives:House needs a deep clean, dead bugs everywhere, very musty, to get to the designated dock you have to walk through peoples yards. We couldnt use it, it was out in the lake because the water was up.There was bags of trash on the side of the house that had not been placed in the trash can. The lock on the door took multiple times to open. Porch light needs to be repaired. The rug at the bottom of the front stairs was covered in mud, so it was hard to not track food in.

We so appreciated this property. We had planned to camp, but Mother Nature changed our plans. We were able to have the kids enjoy the basement while adults were upstairs. Great communication. No issues! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your house.

Disappointed in Host and Vrbo

Cabin was nice, cutely decorated, difficult to find. Unbeknownst to me, a guest complained to host re dirty sheets, bathrooms, grill, etc just to advise her about probable poor cleaning service. Host told Guest that a new cleaning service was used, then kicked us out, stated would give full refund. When I then learned of this, I contact Host & politely ask host to reconsider & reply was she had already contacted Vrbo to kick us out, that she had herself done the cleaning & would only give partial refund, to notify her when we left. We were 10 hours from home, had to find lodging, rest of family had to just go home. Vrbo did not contact me until late that evening only to offer suggestions where to stay. Vrbo is not easy to deal with & has not resolved the matter. Bottom line: Host should have been consulting me, the one who booked and paid, not the guest. Vrbo should have reached out to me immediately when host kicked us out. Host gave conflcting stories and Vrbo is giving me the run around. The complaining guest cleans condos so knows how a rental s/b cleaned. She went & bought cleaning supplies, washed sheets, scrubbed bathrooms, etc. The cabin was much, much cleaner when we left than when we arrived. We were heartbroken not get to be with our family & we incurred unnecessary additional costs that were not planned or in our budget!

What a great family friendly place to stay!

Property was great. The house is set up on 2 levels with a large covered deck, fire pit and and a short walk to the dock. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here and will most likely be back next year.

Our Favorite Place to Stay

We love staying here! Hilltop Haven has everything we need. Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked, plenty of space to relax and it is close to the lake. It is clean and well maintained. We choose this over everywhere else in the area. It is our fifth consecutive year and we look forward to many more.

I always read reviews before staying somewhere. I was so nervous reading some of the bad reviews, but I tell you what, ignore them like I did because our stay was phenomenal! I never had to reach out to Kelly, but I know if I would have, communication would have been perfectly fine. We had Verizon, so our service was just fine, but even if you had to back track a little for reception, it wasn’t a big deal. The lake is literally right behind the house. It is on an incline, but the name “Hilltop Haven” is a given so we came prepared. I do recommend bringing a wagon if you have intentions of loading up a boat at the shared dock though. When they say their kitchen is well equipped, they mean it. We did not need anything extra our whole trip for cooking. There is a Dollar General and ALP store fairly close by if you do happen to forget something. The home was so cute with its Rustic Lake House decor. We were wanting to unplug, unwind and just hang out with our friends and this was the perfect place for it. Super quiet area! We saw lots of wildlife which was fun for the kiddos. The back porch was absolutely delightful for any time of day. We honestly stayed so busy we didn’t get to use the fire pit as much as we’d like, but how nice and convenient it was! I’m definitely keeping this place saved because our group already wants to start planning its next trip back! Thank you Kelly for offering such a wonderful space. So happy we found your place!

What a great place!!

It was all top notch, everything you needed and not junk items all the way to the towels. Our family of 9 had 0lenty of room and very comfy inside not to mention the huge covered deck and fire pit, would recommend this place as well as stay there again myself.

We really enjoyed our stay. We brought our jet ski's and enjoyed three days on the water. We really liked the beach area. The home was comfortable and the AC was perfect after 100 degree weather outside.

Hill Top Haven has everything you could possibly need. Very warm and inviting ... Kelly the Host, not so much! Be sure Vrbo and Host contact you days before your stay to confirm your reservation and get Door Code, because phone service very spotty and panic will set in quickly.

Cozy lake home

Since it was winter we didn’t get to enjoy the lake amenities but the home is well stocked and beautifully decorated in an antique country motif. The basement space is rustic and adds extra gathering space. Having an extra refrigerator was a real bonus. We celebrated Christmas with family, and while the weather kept some away, it was a great place for us to share.

Lovely Property!

We stayed over the Christmas weekend and spent Christmas there as one big family. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was a good size for everyone to work around in and the living room and dining room areas were great for hanging out in. We did have some concerns slash suggestions but nothing majorly bad or wrong with the property. First, there was limited seating around the dining room table and not enough chairs for us. You might look in to keeping some folding chairs in the closet? Second, the beds in the top floor bedrooms were pretty high off the floor, our older parents had a little trouble with that but it worked out. They were very comfortable beds from what they said! Overall, great place to stay, especially if you are looking for a lake house. The basement area was really cool and personalized! Last suggestion we had was to keep a guest book for visitors to sign once they leave. This is the first rental we’ve had where there wasn’t one and we always enjoy writing a thoughtful nice message to the property owners at the end of our stay, I’m sure others would enjoy that too. Thank you again for being such good hosts and thank you for allowing us to stay in your guys house!

Thanksgiving at The Lake

we found the house cozy and warmly decorated. All supplies were provided as indicated, kitchen well stocked. Plenty of room for the six of us and our dogs. Only negative was the weather (but this is November afterall) - we had hoped to use the firepit to roast marshmallows and cook hotdogs. But great that there was a grill for us to use. Boys and their dad enjoyed wal to the lake - finding neat rocks.

What an charming lake house! The back deck with all the cozy chairs and ceiling fan was incredible. The walk down to the lake was short. The kitchen had everything you could need. Comfy beds. The kids loved swimming in the lake!

Family Time
