This was not the property we ended up getting. I had messaged the host with a question a few days before our booking and didn't receive a response until the middle of our booking, ignoring my initial question. On to the property: at check-in time, we still hadn't received instructions to get into the property. I called the number, and was told we were being moved to a property two streets away. It was a property I had looked at, but not chosen, because it did not have private parking or a balcony (two features of the one we chose). We were able to have free street parking - fine, but less convenient; and the property was on a busy street instead of a quiet residential street. The replacement property was okay. There were some issues. There was not a top sheet on the bed, just a bottom sheet and a comforter. Odd! There were some balled up sheets in a bin in the closet - didn't want to touch those. There was no shelf or counter of any type in the bathroom so there was literally nowhere to put any of your belongings. There was no dresser in the bedroom area - there was a closet (the one with the laundry basket) which could only be accessed if you moved the dining table. It was okay overall, since we didn't spend our days in the apartment. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the appliances worked.
