Serene cottage

We traveled from Ohio and we stayed in this cottage because we had a wedding to attend a few miles away at Saureel Vineyard. The cottage had everything we needed. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the cottage but it was comfortable and suited our needs. We had breakfast one morning at the Buttercup cafe which was delish.. and took a stroll into downtown Placerville, which was lovely.

The absolute best!

This property was better than advertised! The backyard and the front yard, with all the twinkle lights at night made it feel like we were very far from any city, or other people. We were there for a family wedding and I had my sister and her family along with my brother and his family stay and there was so much room for us all. My nieces had so much fun with the pullout beds always deciding to sleep in a different spot haha. There were so many towels we never ran out, with 8 of us staying there. The house itself was so cute and cozy and we all had such a wonderful time. Would definitely book again!!

Quiet, cozy nature retreat!

My friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat and the location/house was perfect! Inside was cozy and well-appointed, with a gorgeous newly-renovated kitchen. But the star is outside! Even in early Spring before everything is in bloom, the gardens have so much charm with lots of places to sit and work/eat/chat. Loved the sound of the creek burbling nearby, and all the birds chattering. You get the feeling of being away from things, while still being a two minute drive to a supermarket! And it's an easy 10 minute drive to multiple fantastic wineries & downtown Placerville. Highly recommend!

Girl's Trip

The property is absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for anything more, there are numerous outdoor seating areas that are all gorgeous, we loved the fairy lighthouse building especially at night time. When we first got there and we're unpacking I looked out the bedroom window and we saw deer grazing on the grass and it was a beautiful moment. We absolutely love the kitchen and all of the detail put into it. Our only complaint would be that the barbecue gas was not hooked up and had not been cleaned, we may do without it and it was totally fine. The property is stunning and we love that the outdoor lights are on a timer. We will definitely be staying there again! Thank you Bea for opening your house to us!!

Friends getaway

First time booking a vacation rental home. I couldnt have had a better experience. There was 8 of us. House was remarkably clean. Communication with the owner couldnt have been better. Kitchen appliances were pretty state of the art. kitchen knives, pots and pans all looked be almost brand new. Tv was 50+ inches and i believe 4k. Wifi speed was plenty fast. Theres even a bluetooth speaker in the fan in the downstairs bathroom. Heating system kept the house cozy warm. This property set the bar pretty high for me when it comes to vacation homes. Im already thinking of when i can go back.

Charming cottage for Christmas

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas stay at this charming VRBO. The house, with plenty of space, was perfect for us. The thoughtful touch of a Christmas tree added festivity. The updated kitchen and cleanliness were highlights. Conveniently located near the freeway, shops, and restaurants, yet it felt secluded and private. The beautiful property provided a great space for the kids to explore. Highly recommend for a comfortable getaway!

This lovely little house had everything we needed close to apple hill and downtown placerville, there is even a tap room and brunch restaurant within walking distance. We enjoyed the tasteful decor and lots of outdoor space.

Charming, Relaxing Sanctuary

Our family of 5 adults truly enjoyed this comfortable home. Updated, clean and charming. The surrounding grounds create a peaceful environment to enjoy and relax. Beautiful and Clean

The property is beautiful. A lovely little stream in the backyard with various buildings and seating areas. The home itself is beautifully decorated and felt very clean. I’m very particular about cleanliness and I was not concerned in the slightest. Great communication with the owner from start to finish.

Fantastic house!

Beautiful, cozy house in a great location. Close to loads of amenities, but off the main road making it seem like you are further away from things than you actually are. House was immaculate and well furnished. Communication with the owner was very solid! Will definitely consider renting again!

Perfect getaway with friends

This was the perfect property for a weekend trip with another family. There was ample space in the house. My family took the cozy upstairs and we loved the soft carpet throughout and the trundle beds, since we like to lay near our kids sometimes. The kitchen had everything we needed. The yard is expansive and beautiful! Unfortunately it was raining a lot during our trip, but that made it cool to watch the creek in the back fill up with water! I wouldn't have changed anything — we got exactly the weekend we were hoping for with lots of space for kids to play and adults to hang out together.
