"Die Mountain Lodge Telluride präsentiert sich als gehobenes Resort: Zimmer, Ausstattung und Pool sind zweifellos hochwertig – daran gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Aber unser Gesamteindruck wurde durch zwei deutliche Schwächen getrübt: 1. Valet-Parken – überteuert und unangenehm: Im Ort gibt es nur kostenpflichtige öffentliche Parkplätze (z. B. an der Seilbahn für etwa 30 $/Nacht). Trotzdem erlaubt das Hotel kein Selbstparken – Gäste müssen den hauseigenen Valet-Service für 40 $ pro Nacht nutzen. Unser Fahrzeug wurde nur etwa 200 m entfernt geparkt, die Schlüssel verblieben an der Rezeption. Um etwas zu hilen muss man jedesmal an die Rezeption. 2. Keine Kulanz trotz höflicher Anfrage: Einige Tage vor der Anreise bat ich per E-Mail freundlich um eine kostenlose Stornierung wegen unerwarteter Reiseplanänderung und schlechter Wetterprognose. Die Antwort: „Nicht stornierbar, da innerhalb der 14-Tage-Frist – das Wetter soll ohnehin schön werden.“ Man bot mir zwar an, den Aufenthalt auf ein anderes Datum im Sommer zu verschieben – für uns war das aber keine Option. Auffällig: Bis dahin der war der Ton übertrieben freundlich ab da nur kühl und regelorientiert."

"Zentrale Lage und nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß zur Seilbahn. Frühstück musste auf dem Zimmer eingenommen werden, was kein Problem war. Es gab sogar Porzellantassen. Wir durften länger den Parkplatz nutzen, da wir eine Off Road Tour gebucht hatten. Vielen Dank dafür! Zimmer sind aufgrund des Alters des Gebäudes sehr hellhörig.Wir kommen gerne wieder"
