It can seem overwhelming when trying to choose a place to stay on east coast of Mexico. We could not have been happier with this beautiful property in Mareazul. It looks exactly like the listing photos. It is clean, modern. The lovely patio area is well-furnished. The walk-out pool was cleaned every day. We could hear the surf from this condo in the centre of the complex.The photos don't do justice to the pool area; really one of the nicest I have visited in several tropical locations. As Canadians and seniors, we are used to regulations requiring more handrails and perhaps, some visible underwater markings to delineate the edges of steps and ledges but Mexico is a bit different. The property is very well secured. We were safe and comfortable walking the short way across the grounds to the restaurant for dinners. The food there was good, reasonably priced, the service good and the open air dining room - without loud blaring music, was a pleasure.La Casa Bonita is not the place for travelers who want a party vibe. There are no activities but here is a courtesy desk at the gated entrance where guest can book excursions or rent a car or book the gym and sauna facilities. It is a quick ride into town if one wants to stock up on groceries. The host employed an excellent car service to meet us at the airport. They will take guests around for reasonable rates. Great, responsive host. Terrific on-site concierge.
