Booked for a superior king room and when checking in I was assured by the front desk that I would be getting a king room. Opened the door to the room and it was a small queen room. I called the front desk and after a lengthy hold was told there were no king rooms available. Classic bait and switch. I asked for refund for the difference and was told I needed to call Expedia as I made the reservation there. No apology from the unfriendly unhelpful front desk (Z you know who you are). I reached out to Expedia and was told after a week the property had not responded to their email asking for an adjustment. I then reached out directly to the property manager and was given a refund for the difference between the room fees. Never an apology or explanation as to why I was told I was given a king room when if fact it was a queen. Dishonest business practice with subpar customer service. Avoid!
