We enjoyed our stay there even though there was a problem with the electric supply line to the house. The day before we left, the power company came and fixed the problem. The kitchen was well-equipped but a bit disorganized. We really enjoyed the waterfront decks and relaxing.

This place was absolutely perfect! It almost feels like you’re on a boat ..without the rocking, because you can see the lake from nearly every room. The view is beautiful and so peaceful. I was a little nervous about cleanliness because of a few other reviews, but it was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen had all the gadgets for cooking, plenty pan options which is always nice. They truly thought of everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would love to come back again!

Mixed reviews had me apprehensive but I was elated with this lake house. Upon pulling up off the dirt road, you came to a small bungalow that is near in appearance with a rustic but tidy yard. Entering the home you do smell that musty odor mentioned in previous reviews however having grown up staying in cottages without things like AC I wasn’t too surprised or concerned..a can of Ozium helped anything that may linger. Once you walk in you enter a clean and neat home with all the needed accessories for a vacation. We enjoyed sitting on both the upper and lower decks and utilized the grill and canoe as well. The swans and other birds are plenty & the scenery was just beautiful. My only complaint would be the yard and beachfront needing to be cleaned up a bit, otherwise I highly recommend and hope to go back again.

The house was perfect for our needs It is a great location for a family vacation-close to Plymouth and Cape Cod beaches. The boys caught tons of fish from right in front of the house.

Super rental!

Interior and location are 100%! We’ll be back for sure. The deck has some nails and boards sticking out, no oars for the canoe. We purchased propane for the grill and fire pit. The kitchen and bedrooms we perfect.

We booked this home hoping for a peaceful lakefront getaway. Instead, we got two nights of “buggy hell” and a moldy bedroom we couldn’t use.The first-floor bedroom smelled so strongly of mold that my son and nephew ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room. We expected some bugs being near the lake, but the screens on the sliding doors all had large holes, which meant we couldn’t open the doors for fresh air without swarms of insects invading the house. By evening, bugs were all over the tall ceilings, the windowsills were filled with dead bugs, and the exterior of the house looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in a while.While the location is beautiful, and my kids had a great time fishing, the property itself needs serious maintenance and attention before I would recommend it to anyone. For the price we paid (1,126.84 for 2 nights), I expected much better upkeep and honest communication. To make matters worse, Vacasa failed to follow up when I reported leaving my Kindle behind, and I never received a single update about whether it was found.

Needs Improvement

The location is beautiful with a deck overlooking the pond. Each day brought ducks, geese, and swans swimming by. The home is as pictured on the site. The property is poorly managed. There is a strong mildew smell inside that was at first covered up by an overwhelming floral cleaner smell. It smelled like someone dumped a whole container of carpet fresh. The furniture in the living room is dated and worn. The cushions sag and do not provide support. The place is very dog friendly with a large fenced in area. Unfortunately, when we arrived the landscaping was overgrown and our dog could not enjoy the yard. On our next to last day of our stay, landscapers came to do a fall cleanup and were there for over 3 hours. It was very disturing to our stay and the loud equipment frightened our dog. This type of maintemance should be done between stays and not while paying guests are on site.

Cozy lake house

Overall, it was a lovely stay. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the view! The neighborhood is quiet & secluded. We felt tucked away! We used the grill & enjoyed the ducks coming up to the deck while we cooked. It would be lovely any time of year! Especially if you enjoy the water and the wildlife. It was also nicely stocked with what you'd need to get by and there is a store near by, too. There were a few things that could have been cleaner. For example, we had to wash nearly every dish/glass/piece of silverware we used before we used it. The sliding glass doors between us & the view from the bedrooms/living room had huge smudges that looked like they came from pets. The screen on the sliding door from the living room was pushed out along one edge (likely from a dog hopping up on it) & it let bugs in at night if we had the lights on. Also, the fire pit was not available, which was a disappointment in late Sept/early Oct. The ice maker doesn't work, the filter on the fridge needed to be changed, the water dispenser was broken and taped on the door. The broken shower door mentioned in a previous review was fixed with a cheap curtain/rod which forced you to get in under the faucet. The wood pellet stove was nice but we had to go back and forth with the management co to confirm that it worked, how to use it & then had to find/ carry pellets upstairs. It didn't really give off much heat so the mornings were a little cold. All said, we'd go back again in a heartbeat.

Loved the house

4stars. It would have been less had we have more than two people. I had to sleep with my mother, which was fine because it was a king size bed. I planned on sleeping downstairs but it was so musty, I couldn’t! The front of the house was overgrown with weeds. Both fixable!! The house,VIEW and amenities were amazing!!

Priceless Weekend the Lake House

We could not have been happier with this lake house experience. The property was clean, well appointed and right on a crystal clear lake. If you are looking for a relaxing place to unwind, kayak, fish, swim and play, this is a perfect property to book!

Great property. TERRIBLE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

This property was great. I would have a few suggestions since it is a newer rental and I too am a VRBO homeowner. However VACASA is seriously the worst company to work with ever. I am now 2 weeks out from my trip and still have not had someone contact me from the “local team” and I have been asking every day. We got a call Sunday 2 hours before we arrived
 8 hours into our 10 hour drive mind you. And VACASA told us there was a shattered shower door and so we were going from 2 full baths to only one shower for 6 people for the week. Totally understand, things happen. They then asked if we would “postpone our trip for one day” so they could fix it. I said no we are 8 hours into a 10 hour trip. They said maintenance was headed that way and they would give me an update later that day. Also offered a discount for every day that we were down a bathroom. They were going to contact “local team” and let me know how much. Great! Never heard anything. Reached out Monday and they said they had no record of us breaking the shower door. I said NO you all called me and told me the shower door was broken. They then told me they would log the info and someone from the “local team” would be calling me later that day to tell me when maintence would be by to fix it. This same conversation went on every single day of our 7 day vacation. And here we are 2 weeks after that vacation still having the same exact conversation. I asked for management. Home owner. PLEASE reach out.

Loved it

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect the location is great and we got to swim and paddle board in the lake. The house itself was clean and had everything we needed! We were very sad to leave!
