“Cabin” is nothing like the pictures or description. Overgrown, terrible bugs. Leave shoes outside with bugs. Lights and the ceiling fan not working. I messaged host. Sign said enjoy treats, no treats. The “cabin” smelled musky/moldy. No soap or shampoo anywhere. Linens from thrift store. Couch did not pull out. Couch in sunroom was wet. Small camper laundry.Son’s birthday, tried to make the best of it. Drove to pool 10 minutes away! Lame and people were miserable. Drove to lake 10 minutes away! Eaten up by horseflies. Fed up, decided to leave the “cabin” and stay somewhere else, even before check-in!Offered a 25% refund but host reneged (said she could only provide a refund after the 14 days that I can leave a review). Wouldn’t return the pet fee, or cleaning fee. She lied and said there was shampoo in the shower, there was not. She said there was dog hair and leaves in the house, there was not. She continues to say that everything she promised was available to us. That is simply a LIE. We were only in the “cabin” for a max of 15 minutes. Do not send money via Zelle because you will regret it, wanted cc #. Amenity fees disclosed after booking (non-refundable for a reason). There’s a parking fee, 8.50 per person, per night fee, 50 pet fee and an administrative fee. Place was not as described & did not have the amenities. Checked out even before check-in, host is an unreasonable brick wall. Very expensive mistake. Save yourself the trouble.
