Great place butâŠif you advertise coffee maker it should be standard , not Keurig. We brought coffee with us but had to buy coffee pods. Also, there were some ant issues
Owners need to supply a hairdryer!
This cozy cottage is close to downtown with amazing views; however, it is located in a dilapidated neighborhood. Additionally, the property was not as described. My husband and I were traveling with our 15-year-old daughter. Prior to booking this property I communicated through the Vrbo app with the property manager, Vacasa. I asked specifically, âIs the sofa a pullout sleeper sofa? Where does the third person sleep?â Vacasa responded, âThe sofa is a convertible sofa bed that can accommodate one guest.â NOT TRUE. We called the property manager as soon as we arrived at the property. Her response when asked how the sofa converts into a bed was, âThat property is only for two people.â I immediately texted her screenshots of my interactions with Vacasa through the Vrbo app. Our adult sized daughter slept on an uncomfortable couch in front of a large picture window with no window coverings for 3 nights.
Vacasa did apply a small reduction to the overall bill.
Be aware, this property only comfortably accommodates two people sleeping in the same bed, not 3 people as advertised. Also, the listed size of the property is misleading. Yes, the overall property may be 1300 square ft.ÂČ. However, a couple rooms are locked and not accessible for use by renters.
This may have been the most perfectly equipped home we have ever stayed in. A perfect size for two of us, had everything we could possibly need right at hand, including a welcome gift basket with local coffee, honey, and pecan treats. The home was conveniently laid out and we had the most beautiful view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca out the huge picture window. It was SO private and quiet, a delight to come home to from our daily wanderings, and the deers would look right into the window at us and then wander around munching the bushes and foliage on the property. We highly recommend it.
The house had magnificent views of the Salish Sea. It was amazing to watch the ships come in and out of port. We really appreciated the binoculars left to use. We also had a visit from a family of deer.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood but still only a five minute drive to downtown. The best part is the view. It is a truly beautiful view over the water through large clear windows. It looks really cool with different lighting and weather too. We even had deer walk past the window a few times! Great place for a calm and relaxing stay.
