We enjoyed staying at the lakefront property. The queen bed mattress was good but the double mattress for our adult son was very soft and not comfortable.
My family stayed here for 2 nights, this property is amazing. We spent an entire day swimming, paddle bording and kayaking, all from the deck! The property owner was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!!!
We stayed two nights at this cozy cabin in late June and loved being right on the water. It was so peaceful to spend time kayaking, looking at wildlife, hiking nearby trails, and resting with a book or with one of the many movies in the library! A comfortable place surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
The views from the patio and living room were amazing. Kids had a blast with kayaks and were even brave enough to jump in bit on cold side but warmer than what we thought. Saw bald eagles flying over the lake amazing! Would definitely stay again just very relaxing location. We stayed long enough to see Olympic on the north and east side of park.
Our family of five had a wonderful stay. We were visiting from Virginia. The house had everything we needed. The kayaks were a nice touch, the kids love going out on the lake on the cool crisp mornings. The house was in a good central location for everything we wanted to do in Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. When you stay, make sure you keep an eye on the tide charts our low tide time was in the afternoon so we had travel time in the morning to the beaches to see starfish in the tide pools in the afternoon.
What a wonderful cabin on the lake! My family and I had the best time exploring the National Park and beaches, then going back to this cabin made it even better. They have everything there you will need. We will definitely book here again if we are lucky enough to visit the area in the future.
I had the perfect stay. The location is unbeatable with the views of the lake, mountains, nearby many Olympic National Park sites, and close to Port Angeles. The kitchen was well set up and the beds were comfy. So grateful for being able to stay here and decompress and enjoy all that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.
We enjoyed the our stay at this house. It had everything we needed to make it feel like home. The lake is so beautiful and nice to come home to after hiking all day at Olympic National Park!
Very clean and cozy place to stay. We loved being directly on the lake, and the hosts provided kayaks for us to use. Iâd love to come back again next spring!
Close enough to stores and food experiences (canât recommend grannyâs cafe enough). Absolutely beautiful view and the cabin was so adorable. Definitely watch your step in some areas, especially upstairs but thatâs cabin life! Only thing that was a bummer was checking in after 3pm and having to check out before 10. For long stays I could see this not being an issue but just having the weekend made us lose out on a lot of time at the cabin. Would definitely stay here again! :)
Very quiet with no one on ghe lake except a pair of bald eagles fishing
You can hear the highway from across the lake but itâs not bothersome. A very nice stay
Couldnât recommend this place strongly enough. Spent a very nice 10 days here, the cabin was perfectly cozy and the host took care of everything I needed. I look forward to coming back again next year.
We loved staying here. The whole place feels cozy and it has an amazing view of the lake. Itâs the perfect place for some rest and relaxation and even some fun. Itâs clean and the host is really easy to communicate with.
My husband and I made our first trip to the PNW. We stayed at this lovely cabin on the lake. It is very well maintained, clean and well appointed. I believe it was the start of off-season when we stayed. It was very quiet in the mornings and evenings. We absolutely loved sitting on the upper deck/dock watching the sun come up over the lake and surrounding mountains, having coffee, and watching the clouds rolling through over the water. The fish were rolling in front of us. The upper and lower deck/docks are a definite selling point.
We spent our days in Olympic National Park. This property is centrally located for the region of the park we visited. Port Angeles is also a short drive away for groceries and restaurants. We would absolutely rent this cabin again, and find some fishing poles next time!
This lake house was an excellent place to come relax at after an intense day of hiking. It was also conveniently located to several different trails and only a 20 minute drive to Port Angeles city center.
It was very clean, well stocked, great communication. The one bathroom is downstairs. The second bedroom upstairs is well suited for kids -- under the A Frame, and no door. ;)
Furniture is comfortable, comfortable beds. Pretty and tasteful decorations.
It's a beautiful location, so close to Port Angeles and Olympic NP (Hurricane Ridge). The lake is lovely. Nice touches outside too! Kayaks for enjoyment!
And, as said, the communication was quick and thorough. :)
This place looks even better than the photos. There were nice hiking spots nearby and it was nice to kayak around the lake at the end of the day. The house is very quaint and quiet I was so glad I got to relax here for a couple of days.
We so enjoyed our stay here. The place was well suited to enjoy quiet mornings on the deck lakeside, and to watch the sunsets. Close to trails and an easy drive to Port Angeles for groceries. Highly recommend.
