The buildings are marked Gus' not Sportsmans' so finding the pub/hotel to check in was a bit confusing. Check in was easy, staff were nice, but there was confusion about where things were. The room was super basic with a decent bed, nightstand, mini fridge, coffee pot, mini dresser/tv. It had been cleaned and was tidy, bedding white + soft. That said, things were pretty scratched up and there was a musty feet smell that got to me (carpet?), so it didn't feel very clean/fresh. The poly curtains touch the heater making them discoloured, that gave me a bit of anxiety with the heat needing to be on but also needing the privacy sleeping next to full length windows at street level. The toilet was wobbly, didn't bother with the shower. The price was more than I think it was worth, especially with the mild ick factor.
