We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean and well equipped to entertain the family. The golf carts were a nice bonus and made our short journey to the beach each day a pleasant experience. Dave and Karen were great hosts and did an excellent job of communicating with us and prepared us for our visit.

My family and I had a great time. We loved Port St Joe and the surrounding area. Before the trip we were worried about the grocery situation, but we were pleasantly surprised with the Piggly Wiggly. The house is nice and is very true to pictures. The living space is a very good size with comfortable sitting. The only thing that was a surprise was that the room with two queen or double beds was upstairs with no access to a bathroom or closet. Access to the golf carts was great. The neighborhood was very easy to navigate on the golf carts. The beach was very close and easy to get too. The pool was the highlight of the stay. We used it everyday and was great to have. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend.

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts.

The home is beautiful. The hosts (Dave and Karen) are VERY responsive and wonderful to work with. Just a couple of things to consider. The game room is considered a bedroom and we missed that fact (our fault). The house is located in a close neighborhood, so you do need to keep the noise down. The two golf carts are great and were used everyday. The pool is wonderful. The beach was a close golf cart ride away. It is a short car ride to town where there is a variety of restaurants and shops. Thanks Dave and Karen for a great week.

Celebrating 3 Generations

Our stay was fantastic! The house was perfect for all of our needs! Very well appointed - inside and out! With 7 “girls”, beds and baths were in high demand - and all of us were happy with our arrangements. The house was light-filled and stayed cool despite the very hot days. The kitchen was a high use area for meals, snacks and games. As the family chef, I was impressed with the volume of kitchenware, cookware and modern countertop appliances readily available (and tucked away neatly). The kitchen worked wonderfully- with a great view and entrance to pool, outdoor living. The pool was well-sized and deep - great for water games! Landscaping and lighting provided our own private resort oasis! Not 1 but 2 golf carts made differing schedules easy to accommodate everyone’s idea of fun for the day. The 6-seater cart was by far the best looking ride around! Beach towels galore and beach equipment onsite provided everything we needed! Pool lounge chairs, umbrellas, dining and plentiful seating, including fan-cooled covered areas! The owners were especially helpful and very attentive to our guest experience! From the time we booked their home they anticipated questions we might have. The FAQs was spot-on! Their timely (and non-intrusive) emails as we approached check in and day of arrival offered great suggestions for everything from activities to food to fun! I wish all of my destinations came with the attentiveness of the owners!! Highly recommend!!!

Family Vacation

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed except for a potato peeler. 😄 They have everything there you need to go to the beach. The house was beautiful and the pool and landscaping was very pretty. And having two golf carts made it very convent for everyone to get to the beach. We were giving so much information to help with our stay. It was a very relaxing vacation! A thumbs up from our family!

We were so impressed but this property!! The owner was very responsive and was quick to address our needs!! The game room served as a great place to keep the kids entertained which was far enough away that you couldn’t hear the laughing while others were sleeping. The golf cart was absolutely amazing and saved from tracking sand into our vehicles!! Overall we hope to come back very soon!!!

Beautiful property near the beach!

The property was absolutely perfect for our weekend!!! Communication with the owners was excellent. They provided detailed messaging and replied almost immediately when contacted. The property photos are accurate and the outdoor space is beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool, outdoor dining, umbrellas over the lounge chairs, and the outdoor seating area with a TV. The interior space is open and bright. The kitchen is well-equipped. And the game room hosted evening foosball and darts tournaments. We selected this property to quietly celebrate our son and new daughter-in-law. Their beach wedding at sunrise could not have been more beautiful and meaningful. The house is in a quiet, residential area yet close to everything. This will definitely be our first choice place to stay the next time we are in the area.

Amazing!

Our group of 11 (adults, teens, kids) had a wonderful week in Port St Joe. The property was beautiful, lots of space, and had everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of linens and towels, and more than enough pool/beach towels for our entire group. We were happy to find that the bunk bedroom had a great walk-in closet, which wasn't clear from the photos. The loft bedroom didn't have drawers or a closet for clothes, but the kids were able to share closet space in the master bedroom. The kitchen was well appointed with lots of pantry space for groceries and plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and silverware, plus handy appliances such as a blender and air fryer. The backyard was truly an oasis with a beautiful pool, great patio furniture, an outdoor tv, and a landscaped garden with palm trees. While we didn't use the tv, we did make use of the many pool toys, loungers and umbrellas on the pool deck. We loved that the property was only a few minutes from the beach. We made great use of the golf cart during our stay for early morning and evening trips to the beach, as well as the beach chairs and umbrellas. We especially appreciated the outdoor shower. This house honestly had everything we could possibly want and more! Communication with the owners was excellent, and questions were quickly answered. Thank you Dave and Karen for sharing your property - we had an amazing time!
