While unloading my stuff from the car I was harassed by a pimp/drug dealer that wasn't taking no for an answer when I told him I'm not interested in a prostitute. He said he'd be back to see if I changed my mind after he gets done taking his prostitute two doors down, to a different location. As soon as he left with her I put my stuff back into my vehicle and checked out only 30 min
bed spread had many cig burns, uninviting. And no back up tp, so we've ran out before 6am.But my issue is neighbor #21. Loud all night, yelling and numerous visitors. was very impressed that the one I was out there at 6:00 a.m. ish talking with him letting him know then can't be having a company and stuff so it's not management owner it's the guest that are a issue.
Had to go buy cleaner to clean the floors and bathroom. The towel was black when we were done. Had to go buy towels due to theres being dirty not stained just not cleaned
The property turns out to be next to rail tracks. Major train noise in the middle of the night. Door had been through heck and had no extra security. Neighborhood was scary bad. No light by bed. TV was broadcast and reception was terrible. Most importantly, no AC in heatwave .
But the fridge was large and there was a kitchen range and sink. So for really cheap extended stay with earplugs, maybe.
I like the layout of the room. The fridge and the microwave worked. The bathroom seemed have been updated recently. There was a ceiling light that lit the whole room. However, some of the other bad reviews proved to be correct. There was a very bad smell in the room, which I attribute to a sewer vent outside that wasnât capped properly. The towels were so dirty. I would not have used them on my dog. Bed linens were pretty dingy as well. There were two side tables, but no lamp by either one so you had to get up to turn off the lights before retiring. I think this could be a respectable property with some work.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for our weekend retreat to beautiful Portland. We were kindly welcomed by the owner who checked us in and gave us our key. We conveniently parked directly in front of our room. We entered the room and were surprised to see a beautifully cleaned room with a comfortable bed and entire kitchenette to give us options to store food in the fridge and cook if we felt inclined. There is a lack of bathroom space and the room and furniture exemplify wear and tear with some odor. If youâre okay with the sound of the occasional train and are spending a majority of your time enjoying Portland and need a kind and welcoming environment to rest your head, this is the place!
Will not recommend to anyone! Smells like homeless people live there! Terrible smell that gives you a headache plus trains goes through every 30-45 minutes! Scary to walk around!
