Disliked: Cleanliness
Was unable to check in due to a car being in the one parking spot provided, and the entire road being torn up and being redone, leaving no street parking. Bulldozer was in front of the house along with no parking signs and I was asked to park anywhere I could fit, despite it saying no parking, from the host. It was then suggested to me to drop one of us off and our children, while the other parent finds parking somewhere down the road. Which there was none, and that was not part of the listing, to have to park and walk. This all happened at 1:30 in the morning with the host being extremely rude to me, a woman having surgery 5 hours from the time we were on the phone. Had to find a hotel and squeeze 6 of us in two queen size beds. My children heard the entire conversation on speaker in which one of my 11 year olds said they have never heard anyone talk to his mother that way and was distraught. Owner knew about construction and failed to let anyone know as well. He said to me “That was supposed to be over by now”. Worst experience I have ever had with renting from anyone. Hotels included.
