We were coming in with two littles from a full day of travel on planes and were kind of a hot mess. This staff was so friendly and helped us get settled. The hotel is beautiful and the bar area is great!

Great hotel-but avoid the bar!

The stay was wonderful. Tim’s are well appointed and very comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful and amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. Note: The one bummer- found the bar to be an absolute mess. Terrible service including missing glassware, opened unavailable and lazy, disinterested, confusing bar worker . Luckily there are lots of great cocktail bars in walking distance. Go elsewhere for drinks

Great hotel close to many restaurants and bars. One of the best coffee and pastry shops is right around the corner - Nuvrei. Great service and vibe. Have stayed here a couple of times - it’s our go-to when visiting our son in Portland.

The room was nice, and everything was very comfortable. The reason for four stars is because our room wasn’t cleaned, which was strange and by the time we realized it was too late to ask it to be cleaned.

The hotel is visually appealing, featuring a lovely rooftop and spacious rooms. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the ability to check in and out via the mobile app added a convenient, modern touch. However, the absence of daily room cleaning was disappointing. Additionally, the eco-friendly lighting system caused the bathroom lights to turn off during showers, which was inconvenient. For longer stays, fresh towels must be requested by messaging the staff. While this system works, it may not be ideal for guests who prefer minimal interaction. The check-in time of 4:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM also felt somewhat restrictive. On a positive note, the hotel is located in a safe neighborhood During our stay in Oregon, it was raining, and we requested umbrellas—an amenity commonly available at other Hilton properties—but were informed that all umbrellas were currently in use and unavailable. While there were some highlights, I’m unlikely to stay at another Hilton Canopy location in the future

Good, new property

We stayed here before embarking on a two day train trip from Portland Union Station. Great location. Good coffee and restaurants nearby. We love the neighborhood but be prepared to walk past unhoused people if you come through old town area. Hotel was great. Friendly, clean, new. Great public transportation

I had a disappointing experience during my 5-day stay at this hotel in Portland. I chose it based on positive reviews and its convenient location, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. Location: The location was excellent—central and convenient. No complaints here. Housekeeping and Cleanliness: This was the most frustrating part of the stay. Despite the hotel’s stated policy of daily housekeeping, our room was cleaned only once. We made repeated requests at the front desk each day, but they were consistently ignored. When we raised complaints, the staff offered only a generic apology with no explanation or resolution. Customer Service: The service was well below what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. Staff were unresponsive to our requests for housekeeping and basic amenities like towels. There was a clear lack of accountability and professionalism. Room Quality: The room was average. The comforter was subpar, and the bathroom lacked basic toiletries like soap and lotion. We had to request these multiple times before they were finally provided. Overall, this stay was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. We requested the front desk to contact the hotel manager, but we never could get hold of that person. I wish I could get my money back.

Trendy Hotel in the Pearl

Stayed for a weekend. Spacious room, modern finishes. Staff was attentive. There’s a restaurant on site, but there are plenty of other restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Drawbacks: Street noise even on the fifth floor. Parking is $55 a night, valet only.
