The hotel is undergoing renovations, but nothing interfered with our stay. Nights were quiet, and a smaller than normal, but still adequate breakfast was available. The renovations look terrific! and the hotel owners & staff are very nice and helpful. We're looking forward to staying there again. Highly recommend.

This hotel should not be renting rooms, it’s undergoing extensive reservations…there is construction debris and material everywhere. Thermostat didn’t work. Staff at desk said it would be “reconnected”….nothing. Grab bar in tub was hanging off the wall. Staff not available in morning for check out and to register complaints

Property was under construction which was not stated in reservations. Breakfast was grab-and-go room had been recently redone but already had leak in in the ceiling above the air conditioner. Strong smell of paint in room.

The property is under construction and the rooms are gross: peeling wallpaper, old bathroom fixtures (the tub had multiple visible cracks). My room number was a piece of paper with the number handwritten in pen and taped to the door. The lobby looks like a war zone and the breakfast consisted if a few types of juice, yogurt and coffee and tea. All this for $400 a night. Shame on you Holiday Inn. I can attest that the renovations are desperately needed, but charging top dollar to stay the night while it is underway is criminal.

We were unaware the hotel was under construction. The entire breakfast area was blocked off, leaving a limited breakfast offering next to the front desk. The signage was taken down near the guest rooms, with just handwritten numbers taped to the room doors. Overall the hotel was quiet, with no construction happening overnight. The parking lot was easy to get in and out of.

The staff was so super helpful. I needed some requests (emergency printing at midnight, because there is no business center) that were not typical, and they were so responsive without delay. I love staying at Holiday Inn Express, and have for years. My favorite part is actually the pancake maker :) (I told my husband over and over that I wished one, but now he's an Ex. I guess some wishes do come true.) HIE is definitely a great place to stay!
