Yes, clean rooms but the major upgrade (we have stayed here several times in the past) was the kitchen. The automatic coffee machines (2) were a delight to use. We didn't use the new pancake machine but it did look interesting...maybe next time. It was hard to pass up the cinnamon buns so we had two each. The rest of the breakfast offerings seemed to be of a higher quality as well. If there was a negative to me was I thought the pillows could have been a bit more comfortable....but that is just me....my wife thought they were fine.
