You get what you pay for. Stayed here a few nights with low expectations however the amenities and staff where about what I expected. Room - got the Expedia treatment, lowest floor, closet to the elevator In room amenities - tv didn't work to be able to cast. When I called (had to call twice) got different stories with no solutions. They also left cleaning supplies in my room. Parking, paid 170 for 3 nights of parking that's okay but better be on point and felt like they were just going through the motions.

Very clean with a modern style. Concrete floors and ceiling which made room appear unclean also was very slippery. Also super annoyed with parking cost was $55 dollars a day for valet parking no easy or affordable parking options.

on our first day, the duvet wasn’t tucked into the mattress, there was a dent on the pillow, and no bath mat in the bathroom. It wasn’t until the second day—when we got the bath mat and the duvet was properly tucked in—that I realized our room probably wasn’t freshly made on the first day. That said, it was still fairly clean. Another thing is that the ‘city view’ we booked seemed to just mean a higher floor, not necessarily a good view. We were facing a taller apartment building, so make sure to ask the front desk for a better direction, or the city view might not be worth the extra cost.

Meh..

The hotel was nice, clean, safe and near the pearl district. The “service” was friendly but there was no service beyond the checkin experience. The rooms are nice, but small and extremely dark and poorly lit. The room design feels as if they are trying to go with the “sleeping underneath a freeway overpass” vibe. Ceiling and floors are covered Crete with mild tasteful markings and grafity but I just could t get past the lighting in the room. There weee no overhead lights. Just a series of small “globe” lights that reminded me of street lights. Netting was at eye level so even when the poor lights were on, it was very uncomfortable as it shined right in your eyes. We had natural light coming into our room but even with that the room lights were very poorly planned and did not provide ample light to simply see clearly. Valet parking was extremely expensive and yhe valet folks did not offer nor provide any help with loading bags in your car - even though they were not busy working with other customers or getting other cats. Yet, the app asks for a hefty tip! Not impressed at all and I won’t stay again.

I had a lovely experience. The location is amazing and so many must see portland attractions like Powells Books and Voodoo donuts are a quick walk. There is easy public transit a step out the door, and train transit from the airport just up a block. The staff were helpful and super nice! I would be happy to stay again.
