This 2-story space proved perfect for our casual family get-together. The bedrooms & baths were on the 2nd story and the open living/dining area with sunny roof deck access on the 3rd. This floorplan supported a good balance of privacy and sociability. We enjoyed being only a 15-20 minute walk from the town center, allowing us to easily choose between dining out, getting take-out. The kitchen was judiciously equipped, allowing us to prepare meals on site as well. All in all, it was a very good "home away from home".
This is a very cute historic property. Very clean with all essentials. The deck had a fantastic view. The skylights upstairs were beautiful and you could watch the seagulls fly by while watching a movie in the living room. This is definitely a typical Maine historic apartment. If you are up for beautiful historic features and adventure, this is the place for you. Nice walk to restaurants and shopping. I would warn you, if you have a disability or a bit older, it may be a bit harder for you to get around this property and walk to downtown. This unit has several stairs and is an uphill walk.
