Beds had hairs on them, people sitting outside smoking and front desk personnel was nice but cold to our concerns. Bad vibes, bad area and totally uncomfortable environment from the moment we stepped inside. No elevators. Whole experience made us feel so uncomfortable that we left within 15 mins of arriving. The updates to the carpet and the rooms were nice but the cleanliness was horrible. And the bed linens/ pillows were just cheap and nasty. Once I pulled back the cheap / stained bedspread and saw the little hairs and debris on the white sheets- it was over! Rented and paid for two places to stay and only slept in one!! Worth the wasted money to get the hell outta there for my daughter and I!! So bad after a loooong fun day and was stressful. Nope!!!!

The room smelled like cleaner. It was so strong were wondered what it was trying to mask. The bathroom door was difficult to shut. The bathtub didn't look clean. The coffee maker was about 20 years old and broken with water that looked like it hard been there for ages.

Clerk seemed put out to have to check us in. Room - bureau drawer was broken - tv on the wall did not work so they put a much smaller tv on the bureau. Hallways smelled. Room itself was adequate

Ws stayed in a pet friendly room. One bed was clean, the other had animal hair all throughout. The smell was bad, the floors were peeling up from where animals peed on the floor so many times. The mirror was taped to the wall. They double charged me the incident fee and only refunded me $30 of the $50.

Room was not very clean - tub was gross. All surfaces were visibly dusty. Thousands of fingerprints on the microwave, big stain on one of the bedspreads. There was NO remote for the TV. The desk gave us one to try but it. Didn’t work. The beds linens and towels were nice and clean, beds comfortable.

There was a beyond-dead poinsettia in the lobby with a sign saying "Christmas is about family" during my early October stay. The room door (interior) was filthy, there was toilet paper stuffed in the security peephole, and the security latch was entirely broken and non-functional. These are all easy fixes, ergo it seems the management does not care and/or is not paying any attention.

The main problem with this hotel was an overwhelming, caustic odor, probably from the incorrect use, or overuse, of cleaning products. It was everywhere, in the lobby, the hallways, and the rooms. At first, I expected that the odor would diminish after the cleaning crew left, but it did not. The odor persisted all day and all night and greeted us every single time we entered the hotel and our room over our four day stay. I am not exaggerating when I say it hurt my lungs and gave me headaches. The carpets were quite old and filthy, especially on the stairs and in the hallways. The floor of the bathroom was slick and left a sticky residue on my socks and the bottom of my shoes. I can only assume that they were trying to hide the filth with "clean" smells. Either that, or they were misusing the cleaning products. Perhaps they are meant to be diluted and they were using the products at full strength. I suggest that the owners and management stop trying to cover up the filth with excessive cleaning products and just move directly to renovation or tear down. We have been home for ten days, but despite constant airing out, I can still detect that disgusting odor in our luggage. In the past, we have had good experiences at Quality Inn and Suites, but I think the brand has been permanently damaged in my mind. Since this hotel meets their standards, I don't know if I will ever risk staying in one of their hotels again.
