Clean and comfortable in a great location. Walking distance to the Portland Farmerâs Market on Saturdays. Easy to access and very handy off street parking. Team was very easy to work with.
We overall enjoyed our stay in this Parkside VRBO! The apartment was adorable and fit the characteristics we needed when traveling with children. Our only
The apartment is spacious and very clean. I was in town to provide the food service for a movie being filmed in Portland. The kitchen worked well for me and there was plenty of space to put out food. The only draw back was the lack of parking. I had to double park to unload my bins and park a few blocks away. I opted to pay the 60 private parking fee on the 2nd day. I highly recommend getting the parking.
The property was in an excellent location. Close to Congress Street, and within walking distance to downtown Portland, the Old Port and Deering Oaks Park. Comfortable beds, clean towels and a well equipped kitchen. Late check out and a parking space provided for an extra fee. The property manager David was fantastic. Instant communication with any questions that we had upon arrival. We recommend this property to others visiting Portland.
stayed for one night to celebrate prom, it was a great central location, parking was a bit difficult to find though. Also the sheets were wet, not sure if the humidifier was broken. Overall good stay! would book again
Nice place. A lot of stairs..place was clean with a lot of room .. communication was great. Neat little places to walk to for food. Need more kitchen supplies..more dishes , silverware and cooking items. No spat! Parking was terrible and unit shouldnât list that it has parking. Plenty of laundry supplies and towels. Owner replies immediately to needs.
Portland is Fantastic and this is a perfect apartment to call home base!
We enjoyed our stay greatly. There is a lot of room in this apartment. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a double bed. The beds are comfortable with nice linens and duvet. The owners anticipated every need. The first morning we woke to find a plethora of coffee and tea choices. A large dining room and living room with a sectional and a futon. All comfortable. We enjoyed looking at the folksy 70âs art prints. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms that kept the apartment comfortable. The owners stocked the apartment with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish washing detergent, etc⊠They had basic spices along with sweetners. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions/requests.
The apartment is located
- two blocks from a park.
- a few blocks from the West Promenade which has beautiful Manaions
- less than two miles to anywhere you want to go.
We parked our car for our visit and walked everywhere!
Great brunch restaurants: Hot Suppa (Scrambala and Corned Beef Hash). and Bayside American Cafe (Lemon and Wild Blueberry French Toast (get one piece!) and Cinnamon Roll pancake)
We had wonderful lobster rolls all over and visited lighthouses. What an incredible stay!
Note there are two sets of steps to access the apartment. This was no problem for us and we really liked how the owners had the code locks on the house entrance and apartment.
We will definitely stay here again. Portland is such a great city.
This is an old house that has been divided into multiple apartments. I booked this place because we have an 18 year sold who likes to have his own room, he claims we snore (whatevs). We also like to drink our own wine in the evenings, and our own coffee in the morning. This place is not the ritz, but it was perfect for the three of us. Very clean, very well stocked, beds were super comfy, towels and pillows new! A big bay window gave a beautifully sunny morning, and the big living room allowed us to be together in the evening. We didnât cook but the kitchen looked clean and well stocked. Parking was a bit difficult but the owner had warned us, itâs street only, but only once did we have to park a little ways a way. Busiest Parking times are after 5:00 so if you go out, just uber, itâs likely cheaper anyway since Parking is so expensive on commercial street (minimum of $25). Also, the stairs up to the apartment are narrow and old, not good for anyone with agility issues. I also left an item and the owner graciously agreed to send it to me! We loved our stay here.
This was a charming, spacious & light- filled apartment in a convenient location. We really enjoyed the walk-ability of the whole area. There is an absolutely amazing farmers market on Saturday which is a 3 minute walk away. The only challenge, as was mentioned in other reviews, was finding street parking in the evening. We did manage to find a spot every time but the spaces were a few minutes walk away. It should not deter anyone just a heads up to be prepared. We very much enjoyed the space & the city.
The place was on a charming street located within a 20 minute walk of everywhere we wanted to be in town.
The check-in/check-out process was very easy and the owner was very responsive. Great stay!
