This property is well situated in Porto and very convenient to many of the things one would want to do. The property is generally well kept (see exception below), the beds were reasonable comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful over all. One issue we had was while checking in. I had booked one of their tripple rooms and when we went to our room, they had given us one of their double rooms. We were going to be there for several days and really wanted to small couch to have a comfortable place to sit and hang out in the evening. We went back down to the desk and they corrected the error right away and got us the room we had reserved. The only issue after that was the vanity in the bathroom had a massive crack running through it and was easily moved if you pressed down on it even the slightest amount. Sink functioned and it was ok enough for the time we were there, but we had to be very careful not to lean on it at all. Other than that the stay was very pleasurable. Even with the few issues, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Great stay

Loved the location of this hotel very easy to get to the shops the waterfront everywhere we need to go. Hotel was very clean nothing really to complain about. A great touch to have the freshly squeezed orange juice. Didn’t like the look of the mushrooms, bacon or sausages though.

A good location

Legendary hotel is in a great location for visiting all parts of Porto. Bring your walking shoes it’s a hilly city. The hotel is close to Bolhao Market, the funicular down to the river and is a comfy place to stay.

Great Hotel and location

Great hotel right in the center and not very far from the river. Lovely bar in the hotel and drinks not expensive. 2nd time we had stayed here and would use again next time. Have a room available for leaving your luggage if you have a later departure flight.

It’s not three star level hotel. The condition and amenities are two star hotel. Tiny and chilly bathroom. Excellent location and good breakfast menu like warm boiled eggs, fresh fruits and fresh squeezed orange juice

Nice hotel

The hotel was converted located as close to thexairport metro. Shops wiyhin minutes and surrounded by portuguese restaurants. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the cleaning staff did a good job daily of the room. The breakfadt was excellent with plenty og choice, from hot to cold food with a pancake making machine and fresh juice machine. I loved that our room had a balcony which was quiet at the back. However the room was smaller than I expected with the twin beds pushed together. The bathroom had everything you needed but the toilet was very close to the edge of the sink so was not ideal. Towels were changed daily. I would recommend staying here.

Wie schon oft geschrieben super Lage für einen Städtetrip und tolles Frühstück für den Preis. Leider hatten wir Pech beim Zimmer (614). Auch wenn es vielleicht gut gemeint war, da man in der Ferne den Clerigos Kirchturm sehen konnte, konnten wir nur mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen, was unangenehm war und ich mir im Sommer nicht vorstellen möchte. Auf dem Dach des Nachbarhauses brummten Tag und Nacht die Lüfter/Klimaanlage. Außerdem war das Zimmer miniklein und das Doppelbett sehr schmal mit nur einer dünnen Zudecke ohne zuknöpfbare Bettwäsche. Keine passenden TV Sender. Somit leider 3 schlechte Nächte. Besser also Twinzimmer auf niedrigeren Etagen zum Innenhof buchen/verlangen.
