This house is very comfortable, well stocked and immaculate. We spent a week here at the first of August. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything in Portsmouth. I would happily stay here again.
We had a month stay here and loved every minute! The owner is wonderful and responsive. The place is gorgeous inside with plenty of room. So nice to be able to have the dog with us! A walk to downtown, kayaking at the boat launch just steps away, and 20 minutes to beaches! Highly recommend.
This house is on a nice quiet street. But it was very close to downtown for shops and restaurants. We had a question about the lock on the door and the owner responded quickly.
The house was clean when we arrived. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with anything you may need. The outdoor space was nice with a beautiful water view. The dogs loved walking the street and watching the geese. Definitely on my list to return to!
Great stay to celebrate my sonâs graduation from UNH. The house was well appointed and comfortable. Michelle was extremely responsive to questions and was gracious enough to allow for early check in and late check out. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so there was no taking advantage of the great outdoor seating. Would stay again.
The house was great and just what we needed our quick birthday weekend celebration. This house is an easy drive from Boston, allowing friends to do a day trip. They met us at the house for a visit before we did an escape room and dinner in downtown Portsmouth. Due to the weather we opted to drive and park, but this would have been an easy walk. While we didnât utilize the upstairs bedrooms they were nice. One thing to note the stairs were narrow and steep and our dog didnât like to navigate them. This house has the characteristics of an older house, making it feel very cozy. They have made some nice updates that it feel modern. We plan to keep this house in mind for future family getaways.
My husband and I flew from California to join our daughter, son in law and granddaughter for Christmas. This property is an old New England house updated for modern use. Itâs located on a lake (pond?) which is more likely useful during summer months. It was very cold for us so we didnât walk in to downtime Portsmouth but that was not a fault of the property. We had a wonderful stay and the owners were terrific.
Wonderful property that was spacious, clean, had tons of amenities and in a fantastic location for easy walking to downtown with a short drive to groceries and other shopping. Loved it and hope to stay longer on our next visit to the area.
Cozy, 3-story, pet-friendly, and clean. Walkable to town and quiet area on tidal pond. Great furnishings and amenities as described. Ample parking for two. Steps to second and third floors are steep and narrow as expected for a home this age.
We stayed here for our annual girlâs weekend getaway. The house is absolutely adorable and there was plenty of room for the five of us. Everything we could have possibly needed was present and the short walk into downtown Portsmouth was super quick! The few times we needed to communicate with the owner she responded quickly and was able to resolve our questions. We had a great weekend!
Michelle's property was absolutely perfect for our family and weekend plans. It was walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and shops.
The house itself was filled with sunlight and warmth. The furniture was extremely comfortable as well.
Michelle was quick to respond to any inquiry we made, and she made some nice recommendations of places to go.
Thank you, Michelle.
This house was perfect for a group trip with multiple king beds and twins as well. The house was very clean and check in and check out instructions were clear and easy. Definitely would recommend.
We had a great weekend in Portsmouth. The property is in a great location- short walk to downtown Portsmouth, yet tucked away on a quiet side street. The property listing was accurate and we enjoyed the character of the old house.
