Enjoyed a pleasant night at The Royal Maritime Hotel. Check in was easy and parking was discounted for staying in the car park across the road. We had a view of the Spinnaker Tower from our second floor room (224) The room was clean and recently decorated. There is a Co-Op across the road which was very handy. We walked to Gun Wharf Keys from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel due to it location and beautiful atmosphere inside the hotel. Thank you for a delightful stay and we will be returning.

The room was originally quite underwhelming. Parts of the hotel are in desperate need of being refurbished. But they moved me to a different room, and I was very happy with it. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was not included, but well worth the cost. There were plenty of warm options, and they were all delicious - a true English breakfast. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the naval museum and Gunnery Quays. The staff was also friendly and accommodating. I would happily stay there again.

I didn’t have breakfast but I really enjoyed my stay there. There are a good amount of facilities there I enjoyed the pool and sauna it’s a £1 to use the locker I managed to use my trolley token for the lockers

Lovely place for a visit to harbour as it's within walking distance. Staff were immensely helpful and friendly especially upon checking in (I struggled to understand where to park) and for advice during my stay. Room and bathroom were a little dated but comfy enough for a couple of nights. Breakfast food was good it's a shame about the hot drinks. Tea and coffee were quite literally in hot canisters and tasted absolutely awful. Maybe the machine had broken and that's why they were being used? Either way, they need to offer better coffee facilities! Had a lovely weekday visit here and if ever I was to visit Portsmouth again I would happily stay here again.
