Pleasant stay

We had a great experience at this hotel. From a fast and easy check on process, to friendly staff and comfortable accomodations for sleeping, it was an all around great place to stay. If you have more than 2 people or young children the rooms are not big enough to do a lot other than sleep and the inn is older so it has a elevator that is only operated by staff or stairs. Definitely not impossible for those groups to utilize this inn but things to think about. We want to go back since we didn't get to try the restaurant or lounge. Also, the location is stellar as it is within walking distance of everything but off the main strip and away from the hustle of Whiskey Row.

Overall, this was a great property. If you want a brand new hotel, stay at a chain hotel. The elevator was original and could only be operated by an employee. The interior was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms are smaller than a chain hotel, but people were smaller in 1927 when the hotel was built. Highly recommend with its history and its great staff.

Pros- The staff made this stay a 11+. I have traveled quite a bit, and the hospitality is above what I have experienced in other hotels. Dogs welcome, I have a lab, and it wasn’t an issue. Proximity to everything is a 10+. The grand room is very cozy, and beautiful with good energy. Cons- As another traveler noted, This is an old hotel, and while it is kept beautifully, the walls are thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. I had a hard time sleeping. Updated cooling, but it was very loud. I would recommend getting your room super cold, then shutting it off around 9ish. Otherwise you’ll jump out of your bed every time the system starts up. (Imagine a jet.) The toilet closet. I’m 5 9’ and had to sit sideways since my knees hit the wall. Crazy. ( people were smaller back in the day.) Would I stay again, probably not, but I would drop by for the live music, or a bite to eat.

Quaint and beautiful! We had a lovely stay and even got to see live music out on the veranda. So close to Whiskey Row and all the best parts of Prescott are right outside your door! The people are so friendly! This will be my new place I stay when I’m in town.

Almost perfect

Check in, dining, entertainment, patio, decor, historical significance all over the top amazing. Everything was beyond perfect until check out. I was on the 4th floor, unable to use the elevator without staff, rand several times with no response resulting in me nneding to carry several heavy items down all the stairs. Monica at the desk apologized but was completely insincere. What an incredible disappointment after such a beautiful stay.

Historic landmark, an Arizona treasure

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful historic hotel. Cozy, clean room with very comfortable bed. It is near the courthouse in the old town square, lots of shops and restaurants nearby; choose your room carefully if you don't want to hear traffic noise. Be sure to ask for any VIP amenities you've been promised.

The entire staff give the white glove treatment. A young man (and elevator attendant) carried all of our bags to our room. Each day everyone greeted us with a smile and kind, welcoming words. Carla (our bartender) was an amazing host, always making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The room, albeit small, was very well appointed and extremely charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a block off the square and Whiskey Row. The huge lobby area is full of antiques and lots of history and charm as well. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly there as well. We just had appetizers there but they were delicious! This is a very charming and friendly hotel and we wil always stay here when visiting Prescott!
