Le Tinailler - PRISSE

Trained winemakers and oenologists, Aurélie & David open the doors to a charming, authentic, characterful old wine cellar dating from the 19th century, very carefully restored, next to the elegant winemaker's house of the same period that they occupy (also fully restored with taste under a refined contemporary interpretation), perched as a "belvedere" & "panoramic lookout", on the hillside, on a well-exposed "east" slope, in the very heart of the sublime vineyards of the highly regarded "Saint-Véran" cru. Total calm and absolute tranquility, nestled within a tiny wine-growing hamlet perched on the heights of a picturesque little village in the gentle Mâconnais countryside, nestled at the foot of the iconic Roches de Solutré and Vergisson, a rolling cirque of bucolic hillsides draped in vines, encircled by beautiful wild forests (a magnificent site designated a "Grand Site de France"), in the heart of a soothing, preserved haven (protected as a Natura 2000 and ZNIEFF area for its rich fauna and flora). An exceptional location and breathtakingly beautiful landscape, literally magical and enchanting, offering a stunning panorama all the way to Mont Blanc on a clear day! Spacious and very comfortable gîte. A warm, chic country style enhanced by carefully curated vintage decor with antique touches. An ultra-cozy, cocooning, and inviting atmosphere blending tradition and modernity. Full of charm and character. A delightful, soft, and hushed "bubble" that's incredibly enveloping. A pleasant, enclosed courtyard, landscaped with greenery and flowers, boasts a large terrace (sunny and shaded, depending on the weather) and a spacious ping-pong room (converted from an old barn), complemented by a sheltered balcony upstairs with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the vineyards. Several additional services are available (for a fee): a wine bar (with a selection at reasonable prices), Burgundy picnic baskets, and an immersive wine tasting experience with the owners, offering a chance to discover Burgundy wines. Composition: A house comprising two adjoining gîtes (completely independent, each facing the other) next to the owners' house. Wi-Fi. Wood pellet stove (plus electric heating upstairs). Two-level duplex cottage. Ground floor: living room/kitchen/lounge, laundry room. First floor: 2 bedrooms (each with two single beds 90x190cm) with TV and en-suite shower rooms (shower/WC). Sheltered balcony + enclosed courtyard (70m²) with gravel terrace + enclosed barn (table tennis and bicycle storage) + electric vehicle charging point (free charging) + private parking. Supermarket 2.5 km. Amenities 7 km. An extraordinary location! An exceptional landscaped setting nestled at the foot of the magnificent jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (a designated "Grand Site de France") in the heart of the sublime vineyards of the renowned "Saint-Véran" cru! An authentic, characterful old wine cellar dating from the 19th century, carefully re-enchanted into a charming holiday retreat - adorned with a landscaped enclosed courtyard and bedrooms with private bathrooms - perched like a "panoramic lookout" on the hillside, within a picturesque little wine-growing hamlet, 2.5 km from a supermarket, 7 km from the charming market town of Charnay-les-Mâcon and 10 km from Mâcon, the southernmost city of Burgundy, nestled on the banks of the Saône (run alongside the Voie Bleue cycle route, adjacent to the EuroVélo17 & "ViaRhôna" cycle routes). Absolute tranquility nestled in the heart of an undulating "circle" of bucolic vineyards near beautiful wild forests, in the gentle rolling countryside of the Mâconnaise, a soothing preserved haven largely protected in "Natura 2000 Zones" & ZNIEFF (for its rich ecosystems), next to the renowned "Val Lamartinien" (named after the famous French romantic poet & politician, illustrious "native" of the area), facing the wooded foothills of the South Burgundy massif (a vast wild space, to be explored on foot or by mountain bike). An exceptionally privileged location at the very southern tip of Burgundy, overlooking the Saône Valley at the crossroads of the vineyards of southern Mâconnais and northern Beaujolais (the world's first vineyard recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark / vast network of marked mountain bike trails crisscrossing the massif in a star pattern, the closest accessible 6 km away), ideally situated on marked hiking trails including a "green walk" (a very rich network of similar hiking trails to discover in the area), the "Burgundy Wines Route" (extending various Beaujolais wine routes), the "Lamartine Route" and the Romanesque churches circuit, 1.5 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour of the Saône-et-Loire by bike), 1.5 km from the renowned GTM mountain bike route, certified "FFC Mountain Bike" (Grand Tour of the Southern Burgundy Massif connected to a vast network of identical mountain bike trails crisscrossing The mountain range is radiating outwards (2.5 km from the "Great Loop of Southern Burgundy" Green Way, including its remarkable "Bois Clair Tunnel" 11 km away, the longest former railway tunnel in France now open to a Green Way at 1.6 km), 2.5 km from the GR76 (connected to the superb GRP "Crus, Vineyards and Mountains of Beaujolais"), and 24 km from the renowned Mont-Saint-Romain downhill mountain bike trail. It enjoys a prime location at the crossroads of the Rhône and Ain rivers, at the intersection of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions, the Clunisois-Tournugeois (designated a "Land of Art and History"), and the Bresse region of the Ain department. Ideal for exploring the region (RCEA connection to A6/A406/A430 at 4 km): 7 km from Mâcon Loché TGV station, 18 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 19 km from Touroparc Zoo (zoological & amusement park), 20 km from "Hameau Dubœuf" (1st theme park on vines & wine in Europe), 30 km from Vonnas (gastronomic village of Georges Blanc), 31 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 41 km from Tournus, 41 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais), 41 km from the charming medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National (labeled "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 44 km from Villefranche-sur-Saône, 46 km from Bourg-en-Bresse & 49 km from Charolles.
