Barbados Friends Trip 2026

If there were 10 stars that is what I would give La Paloma as well as the staff from Blue Sky. The house was amazing everything you could possibly want! James was out concierge and he helped plan so much for us! Candy's cooking was AMAZING!!!! And Michelle kept the place spotless! We were a group of 5 couples and we had plenty of room in the house and all of our needs were met, already saying we want to go back!

Big house and staff was great

The house was great. Had everything we needed and large enough to accommodate our group of 8. Candy our chef was fantastic and Michelle - our cleaner always kept the place tidy and laundry done. The manager of the property - James, was great to deal with and very helpful. The beach in front was quite narrow and it was rocky going into the water. Not so bad, as the water was beautiful and sunsets amazing.

This was a wonderful place to stay and hope to come back to make more memories here! The staff was in-house and a wonderful addition to the property rental! Everything was kept very tidy and cleaned up while we were out for the day. The cook, candy, was fabulous and very attentive to our needs. James was a wonderful host and was able to make reservations for us as well as coordinate all of our activities and travel! Will definitely add this to the list of homes to return to!

Absolutely lovely property

The villa was wonderful! We had enough space for 8. It was kept clean and comfortable by Michele, and Candy, the cook, was awesome! The warm ocean breeze was constant. Communication with the Guest Relations Coordinator at Blue Sky Luxury was a problem, however.

La Paloma Villa , Barbados

Our family group of 10 had a great week in La Paloma. Both the housekeeper and cook, were excellent as was our Blue Sky Luxury contacts. Accommodation, pool table and and swimming pool were just right for our family, including youngsters. A lovely beach location , good snorkelling and an easy walk to nearby Italian restaurant & beach bar il tempo, which was also very good

Our first visit to Barbados at La Paloma was the best experience ever. Michele is an excellent housekeeper, keeping the place clean with 9 of us was not easy but she was wonderful. Our laundry was always ready,bedrooms and bathrooms clean. Candy our cook was magnificent , every meal was amazing, never had any leftovers - breakfast, lunch or dinners. We would definitely return here in the future.

best family vacation bar none

Firstly I have to start by saying the pictures do not do the house justice, it is far more beautiful in person. We were 9 family members ranging in age from 6-70 and the layout/space of this house was perfect, tons of room!!! The location is spectacular, we could literally lie in our bed and see the ocean, and hear the constant soothing sound. One of the things we really enjoyed was being able to snorkel right there, as it is a coral reef we all saw sooo many different fish and just a up a bit we always saw a turtle too. Water shoes, life jackets, snorkels ,flippers, all sorts of things were at our disposal. The gardens were beautiful , we had humming birds, parrots, crabs, lizards to watch and even a monkey went by one day---so much fun for everyone. The pool is bigger than it looks too, the grandkids enjoyed time in there also. Each night we sat and watched the beautiful sunset, such a treat!!! What truly made this a special, relaxing holiday was Candy our cook and Michelle the housekeeper. We did nothing, no grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning or laundry!!! Our meals were 5 star, and Candys deserts were indescribably delicious. We always had platters of freshly cut fruit and veggies at the ready!!! Michelle managed to keep the place sand free and spotless even with 3 kids running in and out all the time. There is a grocery store and a great restaurant within a 5 minute walk. To the owners, thank you for sharing your stunning home, we left with a wealth of treasured memories.!!! The McMartin family

We loved La Paloma! The location, the house and all the staff were perfect...the meals were outstanding - Candy is an excellent cook with such a friendly personality and Michelle was so awesome. From the reservation staff, Julie (my concierge), Candy and Michelle the customer service was top notch! Julie was instrumental to preparing our stay at La Paloma and I really appreciated all her help! Thank you soooo much...you are the best!!
