I wish I had gotten her name but there is a very nice lady with amazing eyelashes working nights who checked me in and was stellar but saw her a few other times and she was always soooo nice! Please put this in her record for review time and give her whatever she wants (raise, better days...whatever!). Not crazy about the homeless encamptment growing RIGHT NEXT DOOR but there's not againt the hotel just it's growing...

We so enjoyed being right downtown Providence. The hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. Especially the staff in the breakfast area. The breakfast was probably the best complementary breakfast I have ever had

Dirty rooms. Out of 6 towels, 4 had stains and one had hair. The bathroom was dusty and had long black hair. The front desk staff upon check in was not welcoming, brother was the valet. There is a homeless encampment right outside of the hotel and at night they occupy both sides of the street. What was advertised as continental breakfast, turned out to be Otis S. muffins and Nature Valley granola bars. Very sad. Definitely not a 4-star hotel that Expedia advertised.

Good location, very clean, friendly and patient staff. The breakfast is well worth the money. Stuck with local spots the first couple of days. You'll get the same quality of food at the hotel with a beautiful outdoor terrace option for dining. Highly recommended, excellent value.

Stayed here in 2023, and they've definitely refreshed the rooms since then. Modern, comfy bed. Front desk and breakfast are informal. Fitness room should be next for an upgrade (small, no yoga mats, some machines broken). But the location and vibe are great.

There was an open bag of popcorn left behind the headboard from who knows how long ago. And there was no wifi in my room (720). Thankfully they comped the "amenities fee." But before the receptionist even said hello at check in, she said "you owe $46 for amenties."

I stayed here alone when I came to visit my son who lives in Providence. This place is beautiful! It is a renovated historical Boston hotel. The room I had felt like a comfortable, cozy, well appointed bedroom not a hotel room. Staff was always at the front desk no matter the hour and was accommodating. Bottled water, soda, morning snacks and evening cookies are included with the resort fee which I did not expect. It is located in a very quiet area. There were a few homeless people down the street to the left of the hotel, but if you are driving or walking to the right they are not a concern. I felt very safe in the hotel. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel with interesting decor. Relatively convenient and accessible. Room was spacious, well-maintained and clean. Staff was helpful. The included breakfast was better than other places we have stayed. The only disappointment was that the lounge was not open on the days we visited so there was a not convenient place to unwind and relax.

Adequate hotel but tired and sad energy

Hotel is located in what was the heart of the city and is from a bygone error. Lobby has character with oil paintings and Persian carpets. The room is clean well appointed, and spacious. The room did have a musty odor reminiscent of an antique store. The front desk staff were professional but seemed sad and not into hospitality or making any effort. Valet guys were very friendly, my guess is they work for tips.

The Wi-Fi on the seventh floor did not work very well, the young man at the front desk during the day was not very nice or accommodating, and on the third day in the hotel the person across the hall was smoking marijuana in their room, which lingered into my room.
