The place was well maintained for its age. Staff was friendly and house keeping did a good job. The surprising thing was the restaurant bar was an American Legion Post 15. Service was exceptional but they only take cash no credit cards. Dollars or pesos accepted.
I loved the front desk staff, my husbandâs truck broke down and the guy at the front desk went above and beyond to help us, I forgot to ask his name but he worked the morning shift on 06/21/25 The lady who checked us in was very friendly too.
Lights didn't work in the suite. Ned light was bdoke bedroom fan was broke bedroom light completely broke i like to do my make-up sitting , 1 mirror still no light in the bedroom i burned my leg 3rd degree burn. Was there 5 day's and no one came to fix the room lights. No side tables or any table in between beds as it was a queen suite. Over a 100 stay each night . Only positive was the shower with hot waterits not worth the money the suites ate just like the regular rooms.
I recently stayed at this hotel and my experience was far from satisfactory the room was noticeable unclean which immediately made me uncomfortable there were no bathroom towels for feet after shower and hand towels which is a basic expectation for any hotel the pillows were old and definitely not the fresh clean white we expect quite the opposite to make matters worse the door was insecure the weather strip for the door was ripped and you can see light and cold weather come through leaving me feeling unsafe we checked out two days earlier than my 3 day stay we end up renting another hotel definitely I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone .we celebrate our wedding anniversary in other hotel much cleaner and safe
It was not terrible, Just some dumping from construction. We overall liked Hotel Baja and the staff was great and very responsive. The room was a little small, but it was clean and a great location. We enjoyed our stay.
