Let’s put it this way the cons outweigh the pro’s of this place. Of your looking for a relaxing place, then this is not your place. Too loud, entertaining is heard in your room. Little staff speak English which made communication difficult. They charge you $8 for room service, we ordered room service once, however the order was wrong, and during check out when we told staff that the order was wrong, all they did was laugh. Anyways, $8 is nothing, but very unprofessional.
Security is not existing here, people would smoke on their balcony's and nobody would follow up, and with the humidity, if you’re not a smoker, the stench is nauseating. Drunk people would gather at 3am by the pool area and continue talking and laughing without anyone telling them to shut up. Lounge chairs, have fun getting one. People would put their crap on the chairs and reserve them even though your not “supposed to”, and just leave to go eat or take a nap in their rooms, and there is never any spots available. For the small property of this resort, there is too many people.
However the food was good, the pool area is nice. Staff are friendly. Rooms are cleaned 2x a day. But that’s about it with the pros.
It seems like the building itself has a lot of issues. Our room flooded on the first day from the shower not being grouted properly, they didn’t give us a different room, just had someone regrout the shower floor in the evening. I would probably not come back and wouldn’t recommend this place.
