We stayed here for a week l, March 29th-April 5. We absolutely love this resort and location and would definitely recommend and would come again. We ate mostly at the buffet because it was convenient around our day and they always got us in within minutes. The wait staff were all amazing. Only thing I recommend is never get any food from the front. My husband and I saw little kids sneeze and touch stuff and put it back several times while we were there. This is only parents fault though. One really awesome thing they did to go above and beyond, chef Hector, cooked us an amazing dinner from from the fish my husband and son caught from their fishing excursion. We saw 3 shows while we were there and loved them all. I like how they include the audience in some of them. It is close to the airport, maybe 10-15 minutes away and walking distance to the marina which you can find plenty of other restaurants and shopping.

If your top priority is customer service, I would definitely recommend Melia. The food options were delicious and the customer service was TOP notch. The property is an older gem, and some of the room features show their age (international outlets, etc), but the grounds are beautifully maintained, clean, and all the staff is very welcoming and accomodating. If you're looking to be served outside near the pool / beach area, I highly recommend requesting to be in Joel's section (we would visit again for his exceptional customer service alone - really, he's that good). Taco & Mole was our favorite restaurant. We ate breakfast there every morning. Great trip & excellent customer service!

This property is on the smaller side. Great location, short cab ride to and from the airport. Food selection is decent at the buffet. A la carte restaurants less than desirable. There are only two. The Fish house & mole and taco. The gym was small and old, not a great variety of equipment. The rooms were simple and dated but clean. The resort itself was very clean. Pool area very nice. 1 large pool. Beach was small but clean. You have the ability to walk the shoreline to other resorts nearby and get a larger beach area. We traveled with 2 children and there was not a lot to do compared to other resorts we have been to.

The staff is amazing at this property- very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and you constantly see staff cleaning and repairing things. Except for a day or two, we were able to find chairs on the beach. It was harder to find chairs by the pool. The cons: we were on the 9th floor and hot water in our shower was hit or miss. Great view of the mountains and ocean from up there and daily maid service kept the room very clean and tidy. The other con was the food. There weren't really a lot of options on the buffet. We couldn't eat at the Fish House because we don't eat shellfish. I doubt we would go back there because of the food.

We went with our kids and enjoyed the pool everyday! We love how they had shallow areas right by the edges so our toddler was able to play right in front of us while we lounged in the chairs. We had a family room which was spacious enough for 5 including a pack n play. Pillows and mattresses were a bit outdated. We made use of the Kidom and enjoyed all the activities and shows. Overall food was ok but the 2 restaurants that required reservations were really good. Service was great and speedy. Everyone was very kind. We had a great time at the Melia Puerto Vallarta!

We have been to PV numerous times, and this resort and staff is the top of our list. I cannot say enough good about the service, the quality of the food, and the resort property itself. Isrreal serving at the pool - sir, your service is amazing. Guadalupe- checkin was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by Alberto when we checked in and he quickly brought us drinks and made us feel so welcome. The staff was over the top amazing. Marco and Karen serving breakfast in the Mole restaurant- great job and great smiles ! We will definitely be back to your resort!!

We spent our vaccation with a big group of friend. Hotel Melia offers plenty of activities,exceptional service, and accommodations. The staff is amazing, friendly and professional they go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay.. Over all a great experience. We had an amazing time at the Melia. The grounds and rooms are spotless. The dining options are great. This resort has some of the best customer service that I have had in Mexico. We will definitely be back!!!

The staff and the food at the buffet was great solid 4 star Negatives the beds where rocks had a double bed room the shower pressure was very strong The fish house could be better and they had a weird rule about only tables up to 8 people we had a large group and had to make a kids table to make us all fit .

Overall a great place. The staff work very hard to make your stay a pleasant experience. Great for families with small kids. Food was very good for an all inclusive.The marina is only a 5 minute walk and Thursday nights are a must as they have a night market. Lots of shops and restaurants as well as entertainment. Definitely recommend Melia.
