I had an amazing experience at Barceló Bávaro Palace in Punta Cana! Everything in the property was beautiful and well-kept. The rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The pools were clean and perfect for relaxing. I would love to come back again!

The hotel is amazing, the amenities are amazing and the staff is great. Will recommend to have the option for an early check in specially if you are tired from a long flight. We arrived at the hotel at 9:00 am and could not get our room until 3:00 pm. We were exhausted by the time we got our room. The great thing is that once you check in you can start getting advantage of all the great activities and amenities until you get your room, so recommend to have a backpack with your bathing-suit and other stuff to enjoy the pool. We reserved a junior suit and our jacuzzi had some corrosion stains all over the tub, the outside light was broken and the air conditioner was not cold enough. The bed was amazing, and the room overall was nice, would recommend to do a few upgrades to the amenities like the tv and specially the air conditioning. The staff was supper friendly and alway providing an excellent service. The food was okay nothing out of ordinary. The overall experience was great but need some minor improvements to their rooms and facilities.

The resort could do better when it comes to dining options in the buffet. The food at the buffet was cold most days , even as soon as they opened. Also, there is no A/C on the restaurants, this is something management should do something about.

Review of Barceló Bávaro Palace I had the best time ever at Barceló Bávaro Palace — it was the perfect blend of pure relaxation and endless fun. The drinks were amazing (the mojitos were my absolute favorite!), and the staff’s warmth and hospitality made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine kindness. Check-in was incredibly quick and smooth, and we were lucky to be helped by a wonderful woman whose name I wish I remembered — she made sure every detail we requested for our room was taken care of. The room itself was fabulous, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel like paradise. The food was decent, as you’d expect from most all-inclusives, but the specialty restaurants really stood out — my favorite was the Mexican restaurant. The staff was the heart of it all, always smiling, attentive, and making us feel completely safe. As two young travelers, that meant everything to us. They even went the extra mile by taking down taxi driver details to ensure our safety when we went out. On our last day, when our pre-booked Expedia transportation failed to show up, one of the staff members quickly arranged for a trusted taxi driver so we could leave without stress. That kind of care and attention speaks volumes about their commitment to guests. Everything about this trip was incredible, and I would 100% recommend Barceló Bávaro Palace to anyone. I can’t wait to go back again!

The food was not what I was expected, it was not like other years that I have been. The air condition was ok, it should’ve been a little colder. But everything else was great, the service was fantastic and very friendly.
