Overall the facilities and staff were Excellent!! Great variety of food/restaurants. I would highly recommend this resort.
The steaks are a bit tough. If you want your steaks well done say you want it very well done or you will end up with a medium rare. For those from the U.S., clam chowder at the resort was not Boston or New England style. The chowder was brown and reminded more of fish soup served in France. Beware of the excursion coordinators even if they claim to work for the resort. They will squeeze whatever money they can out of you and the prices they charge do not match what is on the excursion price list they show. The mark-up can be $20+ and the excursion seller will claim it is to cover transportation cost. Look into booking excursions directly with Expedia or an on-line service called Viator. Additionally, excursion sellers will charge you depending on how gullible you are and/or how willing you are to give your money away. For example, for the same horseback riding excursion my wife and me were charged $80 each, a group of young women were charge $85 each, and another couple we knew got charge $105 each. I still think we got ripped off, but on the bright side it was less than what the others paid. We got charged less because we told the seller that we heard his sales pitch to the others he charged more.
I used Seasons Transfers to go to/from the airport. I give them a ONE star rating and that is being generous based on our experience--HORRIBLE.
