am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Meliá Wellness Punta Cana. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards expected from a property under the Meliá brand.
While the rainy and stormy weather during our stay was beyond anyone’s control, what truly impacted our experience was the lack of transparency and poor service we encountered throughout our stay. We were repeatedly misled and directed to shops or services we had not requested, seemingly for the hotel to gain commissions. This left a negative impression and made us feel more like a target for upselling than valued guests.
That said, I would like to sincerely commend Rebecca from Guest Services, who was the only professional and genuinely helpful person on your staff. She immediately noticed our dissatisfaction and went above and beyond to make things right. Her empathy, efficiency and sense of responsibility stood out in contrast to the rest of the team.
