Pleasantly surprised by this last minute, very budget friendly vacation. Beautiful, clean and spacious room, lots of restaurants to choose from, and no reservations needed. There were 2 restaurants that required reservations, but you can easily do that via an app. The beach and pool were very nice and there were plenty of bars. Food was really good! Close to the airport. Overall 10/10.

Rooms and all areas clean. Amenities ok. Staff, not ver nice. Very discriminative for people with prime privilege membership ( nicer ) than a regular travel. Impatients to give instructions. Some people were nice, but the mayority not. Most of the restaurants closed at the same time. Japanese restaurant not so good. Very loud. Servers in the big buffet restaurant El Carey, not pending to clean tables, either to serving and refilling coffee. Same in the beach restaurant. The entertainment like bowling, billiard tables, archery and ball shots, just open after 5pm and 7pm respectevely. The coffee shop, serves good expresso coffee and cakes. I probably will not come back to this resort.

Front Desk: more smiles needed with greetings, not very helpful with better accommodations. Bars: more smiles and greetings needed! Everyone looked upset or angry at something. Room: POOR AC system no cool air for entire week - we moved our room several times. Resort: Needs updating with grounds and vegetation. More curb appeal for entrance. Especially a mile down before entering the resort. Food: Excellent and service was great 😊 Liquor: Watered down! Unacceptable for what we paid!! And top shelf liquor should be offered to everyone at additional fee. Not just to Privilege Guests.

I really liked the property but I don’t think I got anything special for platinum level of Expedia. Never received the bottle of spirits and no bathrobe. However we had a nice room. Check in was NOT the same as last time when I was only gold. We didn’t receive pool towel tickets and the 70$ tickets were just pushed to me and the man said “you scan”. Also room not ready. We did have a great time though.

Pros: The resort is constantly being cleaned, and the staff are very polite. The girl serving ice cream is the best! The coffee shop was one of our favorite spots — great selection and delicious options. Cons: We booked a room with a pool view; however, because one pool was closed for renovation, our view was mostly of construction. We asked to move to another room for that reason. Due to the pool closure, the main pool was often crowded, and it was difficult to find available seats. The beach is amazing; however, one day they were fixing the swim buoys and closed the beach for the entire day — we couldn’t swim at all. They also don’t have a plan for rainy days. Most activities happen around the pool, so if it rains, the only entertainment is at night. During the day, there’s basically nothing to do. We were there for two rainy days with no kids and had no organized activities available. You can play pool or tennis in the family lounge, but that’s about it. The staff also weren’t very proactive in encouraging guests to join activities — for example, the 10 AM daily stretching never happened once during the week. We will try another resort next time.

Everything was great. We had a great time, the food was delicious. They just need to improve the attractions. One of the pools was closed for maintenance, and the Jacuzzis didn't have the heater on.
