Wonderful place. Great location right in the middle of downtown. Park your car around back of the hotel for a fee and walk everywhere. Room was clean, had a frig. Water was nice and hot! Staff at check in professional and helpful showing me where to park. Would retyrn to this hotel again.

Perfect location in Vieux Quebec. Free breakfast at Sagamite restaurant was ideal. I would say the property while historical probably needs some upkeep and better cleaning. Anyone with mobility issues should avoid staying here - lots of stairs and they are steep.

Quite a nice classic style hotel. Makes you feel in the environment of the 19th century but with good wifi. Take note that there are a bit of stairs to climb and if you do not mind this, like me, it is a great choice. Good breakfast with a waiter that made his best to speak Spanish with me.

Location was good. Beds were comfy. Customer service poor. Barely any lighting in the room. Carpets were dirty. No/ poor unreliable front desk service. No elevator.

You get what you pay for, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so dingy. The basic rooms were down a narrow, dark, dirty hallway with keys that barely worked. The walls were chipped and discoloured. The bathroom had other people’s toothpaste on the counter and dust on the mouldings and ceilings. The beds WERE very clean and comfortable though. When I reached out to the office to try and upgrade, I got no response. The one saving grace - the amazing free breakfast in the restaurant next door - delicious and excellent, friendly service.

À éviter absolument – très mauvaise expérience Nous avons été très déçus par notre séjour. L’endroit est extrêmement poussiéreux, avec des toiles d’araignées dans les coins des murs. La moquette de l’escalier dégage une forte odeur de vieux, et les espaces communs sont mal aérés, remplis de vieux meubles entreposés un peu partout. La réception se trouve dans un autre immeuble, ce qui n’est pas pratique, et le personnel n’était pas accueillant. Nous avions réservé deux nuits avec petit-déjeuner inclus au restaurant Sagamité, mais une fois sur place, on nous a informés que nous n’aurions droit qu’à un seul déjeuner sous prétexte que le lundi de Pâques, le restaurant était fermé. Pourtant, nous avions payé pour deux. C’est inacceptable et malhonnête. Le seul point positif : le lit et les draps étaient corrects. Pour le reste, c’était la pire expérience de voyage que nous ayons eue.
