This property is ideally located. Immediately outside the walls from Old Quebec city and on primary road to travel to other sites. 2 minute walk to the walls. Convenient parking and friendly helpful staff. Rooms are cleans and accommodating. Would stay again! It definitely beats those small old hotels inside the walls with no parking, elevators and tiny rooms!

Chosen for conveniences and ease of accessibility

We chose this hotel mainly for conveniences as this time we were a group of 13, had one person in a wheelchair, and planned day trip outside of city so easy accessibility to car was needed and on site parking needed. The pool was appreciated by our youngest member of 8 years old. The hotel has restaurant which our group of 13 enjoyed one evening. The service was excellent. The bar in the hotel was okay - no ambiance and slow service. This hotel has many rooms with suites so our solo travelers could pair with others and there is some privacy with door on the main bedroom. There are also many rooms with balconies where a person can close the door and enjoy the view. My son and I were in a suite. The fridge was not plugged and had to be pulled out to plug in and did not seem to get cold enough. The outlets in the bedroom were behind the night stands and had to be pulled away from wall to plug in work laptop. Not a huge deal but in an age of technology, you come to expect a little more ease of access. This interieur suite was also kind of dark—even in the bathroom. Only one outlet at the bathroom counter. The toilet was running upon arrival. The pull out sofa was quite old and warn. Carpet in the hallway was stained. Check in took a VERY long time. There were two people at service desk. A third finally was added when I made it to the front of the line. Check in is at 5pm and 11am.

You definitely stay here for the location. The rooms are pretty rundown. The a/c doesn’t work. It’s humid and very chlorine-y in the air due to the open air pool. Great walking distance to everything Old Quebec though. Parking is $25 a day, underground garage max 6’4”. Lovely staff.

A Disappointing Experience That Highlights the Importance of Service Integrity We booked a family suite for 3 adults and 2 children, four months in advance, expecting a comfortable and enjoyable two-night stay. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet even the most basic expectations. The room was extremely small, lacked essential amenities including a closet and the fifth bed was a sofa that was unsuitable for both sitting and sleeping. After raising our concerns, we encountered inconsistent communication and shifting explanations from staff. A mattress was eventually provided, but it was dirty, damaged, and clearly intended for floor use. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was poor, and customer service failed to offer meaningful solutions. A toilet water spill was dismissed with an inappropriate explanation and a condescending lecture on how to flush properly. When we requested a room change, we were told the hotel was overbooked and offered a partial refund if we chose to leave. We ultimately cut our trip short. What was meant to be a relaxing family weekend turned into a stressful and disappointing experience. I’m sharing this not just as a dissatisfied guest, but as someone who values transparency and accountability in service. Businesses should not prioritize revenue over responsibility.
