First time pod resident here. Much better than I expected. Very friendly staff, clean pods. Very spacious compared to the videos I have seen of other Japan style small pods. Clean beds and honestly great experience. The lockers under fit those massive 32kg travel bags and you ll still have a bit more room for a couple of shoe pairs. The best thing here is the location. Close to market. Fergburger etc. It's basically the town centre's centre. Tip (you can park across the road from 6pm to 8am for free and it's $3.5 an hour after/before that. If you plan to go to the gondola and luge leave your car here. You ll need 3 hours. That includes three luge rides and go early. Also the parking Is better than the one near the gondola parking which is apparently more expensive. Why didn't I do 5 stars? ( I was a bit uncomfortable to unpack and pack my bags with other people present even when they were in their pods with curtains shut. I just hope there are clear rules (verbal) by the staff upon check in to inform others when they can make noise and when they can not. Example: I woke up at 9am and it seems everyone else was asleep still so I was very careful when packing away cause I was checking out at 10am. It was just awkward I am sure you know what I mean. But overall 8.5/10.

The checkin was so late in the afternoon - 3pm. Yet we observed the cleaners came in soon after 10am. daily. The room was so cramp it was ridiculous. And yet the bed was oversized. the large tv looked impressive but it could at best only pick up 3 channels during the four days and none included the norm tv One or tv Two. The bathroom lacked shelving or cupboards except for a tine shelf. The noise level meant little or no sound proofing and the cold airconditioning could not be adjusted.. We had to turn on the heater for hours in the middle of summer.

Stayed in a female pod room. Horrified of the cleanliness when I walked in. Mud and twigs on the ground. Luggage all over the common area to walk blocking the ladder. Towels, underwear hanging on the ladder to get onto my room. Very disgusted bathrooms! POD mates were not considerate with noise. The lockers in the rooms don’t work as per instruction. You will need to have staff assist. Overall not worth the money paid to stay here. Very disappointed or the lack of cleanliness.

8-person female room was cozy and comfortable. Appreciated the lockers under the bed and spacing of the bed itself. Room could have benefited from daily vacuuming or carpet roller as it fills with hair and lint throughout the stay... But this is minor.

I really liked staying here and I would absolutely recommend people to stay here. It was very quiet even in the rooms and within the pods they have this nice curtain to provide ultimate privacy that u can pull down. They have outlets within the pods and provided me another blanket as I run cold. In terms of beach access, there isn’t one nearby so can’t really say yay for that, but everywhere in the town is walkabale and this spot is very well positioned. They provided me with a parking spot in the parkade (I had to pay 30 nzd/ 24 hours but had a rental car so didn’t want to risk other spots, plus I thought that was a really good deal considering). The staff were super nice and incredibly helpful with recommendations. Kitchen area was great! Had all the instruments and appliances!!! Even had a great fridge space for everyone to put their fridge items (even had baskets to separate). All in all a great stop!!!

stayed over the Queenstown Marathon Weekend, and it was perfect! We stayed in a family room which was the perfect sized room for 3 friends, our room overlooked the Gondola and the park. Room was spotless, bed was super comfy. the only thing i would have to say is that the water pressure in the shower isn't the best, but nothing to complain about. the location is perfect too, a quick 5 minute walk to the waterfront, 1 minute walk to the supermarket, everything is in a handy location without having to walk up any steep hills. Staff were all super friendly, the front desk team were super helpful with giving reccomendation on what to do, although we already had our itinerary sorted, they were there if you needed any help (im so sorry i forgot specific names). overall, would definetly stay again, although there is no carpark onsite there are heaps of carparking options around town.
