We had an absolutely amazing week-long stay at this apartment! Located ideally in between the town centre and the airport, going skiing and going to town for dinner was easy.Communications with Hello Queenstown team was responsive. Instructions were clear making the checkin/checkout process smooth and stress-free. We were greeted with a bottle of rose wine which was a nice touch. The apartment itself was spotless with modern furnishings and there was a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook. But the true highlight was the spectacular view from the living room! It lives up to the name "Jaw Dropping Views" We were waking up to breathtaking mountain and lake views every morning. While the staircase may not be ideal for elderly guests, I would think this place is otherwise a fantastic choice for a young family visiting Queenstown.
Overall it was a good stay. We had problems with the fire alarms going off in the mainbedroom and another room in the middle of the night. It wasn't fixed during out stay, but we had to turn it off because we got no sleep and it kept going off every hour or so. To get the the property, you also need to go down 2 flights of stairs. If you've got heavy bags, or with an elderly i do not recommend this property. Its quite the mission to go up and down after a long day.
There was constant noise coming from the apartment above us, we could hear footsteps, chairs being pulled out, taps running, items being dropped. This space is not designed for being rented to 2 groups, there was no undercover parking, and it was a long distance from carpark to apartment with groceries in the rain up 50 stairs also uncovered. The master bedroom didn't have block out curtains so a lot of light came in each morning, so not ideal.I wouldn't write home about this place.
