Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Clean and spacious accommodations. Breakfast buffet appeared extensive, but was a bit pricey so opted for breakfast in town. Staff was courteous. Location was great as it was a short walk into town. The perfect choice for my wife and I.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff all friendly. I would rate as a three star hotel. Overpriced. Power went out one night for about half an hour and when that happens the telephone in the room doesn’t work so you cannot call reception. No hot water in the mornings of the last two nights stay. Pretty poor housekeeping. We were there seven nights and I don’t believe we had a full service during that time.
Great location, modernised room, comfy beds, very clean and tidy, lovely and helpful staff. Only comment is the main entry, hallways, hotel exterior etc are dated but look to be getting renovated. Overall a great place to stay as a young family.
False Fire alarm at 3am-ish requiring evacuation didn’t help. Good standard of room equipment and cleanliness. Staff all very helpful. Felt more direction from the only staff member and fire crew would have been appreciated, eg guests wandering back inside to water fountain when building supposedly evacuated!! Not a safe practice!!!
Overall the hotel was fine. Staff were friendly.
Issues were lack of healthy choices at breakfast (need more fresh fruit, prunes, oatmeal maybe).
Especially, when staying several days like we did.
Room service was quite late, so after a long day it was disappointing since we didn’t want to leave so just asked for towels. Bedding need a change.
Nice sized rooms, tidy and location was fantastic! Buffet was good not great but we had such a good stay in Queenstown

Liked: Cleanliness
Requested a quiet room on a high floor for a special occasion stay. Despite the hotel being reasonably empty, we were placed in a room by the road side and at road level. Very disappointing and the hotel lacks atmosphere overall.
