Great place. The owners were quick to respond when we had some questions about the tv and air conditioner. Really clean. Everything you needed. Bed was comfy but needed new sheets and mattress pad that stayed put. There was an extra small mattress that was crammed in by the table that was a little annoying and made space crowded. A single AIR mattress would have been a better option. The closet where all the extra bedding and extra towels were kept was over crowded and stuck out in walkway. All and all it was a great place, it just needed some better organization for more efficiency. Would definitely book again.
Fantastic retreat off the beaten path, but not too far away
I was looking for a long weekend to get away and enjoy some of the Shenandoah Valley. This was a great location. In the rolling Hills, away from busyness and all the lights, yet only a few minutes to the highway and some of the valleyâs attractions. The listing says itâs a tiny house, pretty big for that, but still quaint, the best of both worlds. I would definitely stay again.
We arrived in the rainy, pitch dark in December. We are 2 city girls so we were not used to this and a bit freaked out at first at how isolated it felt. But in the morning we were in awe of the beauty outside. We didnât get to take advantage of the deck/firepit, but all the amenities inside were on point. Very comfy. Great communication too. If youâre not a fan of driving at night and arrive after dark, make sure you have all your eating/drinking necessities. The roads are a little daunting in the dark.
Very clean, well maintained property.
Terrific venue to get away for solitude and nature watching. Great Mountain View, rolling hills and farm life. Well stocked unit which includes fresh farm eggs.
Great communication with property owner.
This little house was just perfect for me while enjoying Shenandoah NP & other interesting places in the area. The owner was very responsive to my inquiries. Kitchen was well stocked. Good to have a W/D for laundry. I would recommend this rental for 1-2 persons.
Very enjoyable stay.
This was such a wonderful experience. I really wish I could have stayed longer. I loved the property and the sunset there was beautiful. Itâs quiet and serene. A great place for a base if youâre going to Shenandoah. I loved the record player!
The stay was so amazing, weâre planning our next getaway!!! The house was lovely and quaint. It was far away to have peace but close enough to all the conveniences we needed.
The house was clean and had everything I needed for a very pleasant stay. I loved the location. It was wonderful to sit outside and hear and see the cows. I would definitely recommend this location and would stay again.
My family and I stayed here after visiting the Shenandoah caverns. Everything was perfectly organized and clean. These hosts thought of every little detail from tea, coffee, board games. The fresh eggs from the farm and record player were such a nice touch. Anything you could possibly need was in this tiny home.
I highly recommend as a couples getaway or a family with a small child. Would stay here again anytime!!
I couldn't have picked a better place to stay! There was even a carton of fresh picked eggs to welcome us. I won't look any further the next time ... I'm hooked on this place.
We had just a blissful time in this stay. It's a tiny house, but more tiny-ish - it has everything you need, and you never feel squished. The kitchen was so well-stocked, and it was a great vacation from regular life.
The house was clean and cozy with a nice outdoor area to hang out. It is not too far from Shenandoah National park and offers a nice place to relax after a day of hiking.
I stayed at this lovely little place after a long day of driving. It was so beautiful to sit on the deck and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature while watching the sunset. Everything was clean and in order and the bed in the loft was very comfortable. My only regret was that I hadn't booked a second night.
Coming from the city I appreciated that the home is situated in the middle of wide open farmland. We enjoyed viewing the sunset and watching the hundreds of fireflies lighting up over the fields. It was a pleasant little house and getaway!
This was the perfect place for what I needed. My trip was cut short and the owners were so gracious and the location was so peaceful. I hope to one day make it back there for a longer stay.
The views on the way up the gravel road were beyond charming and the home was even better. It was adorable inside and out and i can't recommend this stay highly enough.
