We enjoyed our stay. The property is slightly more dated than the pictures. We thought we would have seating for at least 9. The pictures showed 3 nice bar stools but in reality there was only 2 flat metal ones. This was only a problem because we had dinner planned there. Side note there are no kitchen dish towels. There are no blankets. Please bring them with you. We had a cold front come in and really needed the blankets. We obviously stayed in the winter months. I am sure it is not a problem in the summer.
The entire place needs to be deep cleaned. The house rules asked us not to wear shoes, but the floors were so dirty we had to! There was only one chair and a broken fire pit outside - we contacted host who responded new chairs were coming, but they were never delivered and the host stopped responding. The interior furniture was different and the lamps by the beds didn't work or weren't plugged in with no outlet available. Things like can openers and blenders didn't work - everything just needed to be cleaned! Broken fans on the porch, a mini fridge full of moldy chicken livers. Trash laying around - it wasn't good.
Over all lovely space our family was there to enjoy teaching our kids to fish. Only 2 factors that was ca little disappointing no tv in the main living area and thevfire pit had no chairs.
Here are some additions and changes could be done. Hair DryersMore lamps with plug insLet people know the bathroom shower in 3 bedroom bath - the hot and cold signs on the knob are reversedThe other shower was always coldNeed Box fansNeed Blankets
The house worked out well for our family of 8, including the dog! Our favorite part was the back deck, green space and open views of the lake. A few suggestions were made for the host, but overall we would stay here again.
This was my first time at a vrbo so I have nothing to compare it to. That being said, if youâre looking for a lake house with the most beautiful sunset ever on a very inviting back porch, youâve found your spot. Caught a stringer full of blue cats by the bank too
