The Hotel Inca Imperial is located in a central area of Quito. There is no doubt that when it was new,. it was a sparkling jewel but has tarnished a bit over the years. It is safe, secure and has great charm. It is a very good value for the price.
The hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, it looks outdated and the room smelled moldy, the matress was hard and noisy. The front office personnel as always kind and polite.
Just fresh out of the Peruvian Amazon the air in Quito was a chilly 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Upon check in the windows in the room were open and the room freezing cold. There was no heating system but there was a nice wooly blanket in the closet. The Expedia ad showed some interesting rooms with a cultural flavor. The actual rooms are older more run now and poorly made. The neighborhood looked a little rough but after exploring a bit it is not bad. The staff was very helpful

Les points faibles : Personnel et service et confort de la chambre
doing the time warp
Hotel on dug up road, night noise. Decor a relic of the 50's.
Staff did not offer to help with suitcases. No restaurant open after 5 pm. Nothing else close.
We spent one night , but the area was a bit rough, and felt uncomfortable going out at night. We are a retired couple and we're looking for something newer and better located.Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.
The hotel is located near El Ejido park and near bus Paradas. The area has several Hostals that offer accommodation for $10/person/day but without breakfast.. We stayed at Inca Imperial twice for two days and had some of our luggage stored while away for a week. The breakfast was fine, the room on the 5th. floor was clean and bright. The staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Was too far from the airport. The room was very old nut clean. It is what looked like a very not nice area but it was late
To be fare it was cheap and thrcstaff wetevhelpful and friendly.
Sehr freundliches kompetentes Personal.
What is there to say? The first thing that hits you is that the pictures on the ad don't match with what you actually stay in. The rooms are much worse than shown in the ads. The area was OK for Quito. Breakfast consists on one waitress slowly attending to the entire dining room. But the worse was having someone steal things out of my mother in law"s luggage. I wouldn't stay here again....ever
