Property was well aged roof leaked on my wife’s bag was up @ 4am drying it in bathroom ceiling finally clasped in morning. Told desk clerk to get a sorry. Really feel I deserve a full refund.

Upon arrival the pool was not available for use. We were told it would be ready in an hour. There is no way that was possible. It was half clean and half filled. We were not offered anything for the inconvenience. We did not stay and were charged for 2 nights. EXPEDIA was no help. No manager on site only an email which still has not had a response. (5 days) DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Don’t waste your time or money!!!

We arrived with our 3 children from our 9 hour drive to find the pool half full and covered in scum. When we approached the staff she told me things happen and they knew about it, they would get to it when they could. None of the rooms were ready on time for check in, with 3 kids when we asked for a refund to find a hotel with a working pool we were declined stating that we didn’t pay extra for refund we were declined because we didn’t pay extra for refund protection. This place is not worth the $10 money savings over some other great hotels we ended up staying at in Rapid City!! Don’t waste your money!

Basic hotel, limited amenities. Restrictions on random things - like sign on the ice machine, sign saying you can’t take breakfast to your room, and when breakfast coffee ran out halfway thru their scheduled breakfast they just said they were out instead of making more for guests who asked. Room hair dryer did not work and had to ask for towels.

This hotel needs a good deep clean. Carpets were soiled. Walls were dingy. It just looks and feels old and dirty inside. Towels were old and grayish from use. AC in my room worked, but was very noisy, along with the bathroom fan than whined and the shower drain that didn’t drain. There was a team of HS athletes, and many of them were in rooms that didn’t have working AC, so they were sleeping on floors in rooms that had some relief from the heat. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Yogurt was warm even though I took it from the fridge, no sauce, ketchup or salsa for the eggs, and the apple juice was ridiculously diluted. No fresh fruit - just carbs. I won’t be staying here again

I stay in many hotels all year round and it was the worse one ever. Lights in bathroom didn’t work, was super dirty, property was a mess, and staff wasn’t very accommodating

We checked in later, around 8pm and check-in was extremely slow. There was only one bath towel in each room and there were 5 people in our 2rooms. We had to go down to the front desk for towels as the in house phone did not work. The light in our bathroom kept going out and we wanted to shower badly(it was hot out). The front staff were not able to help as they said they were fully booked and could not move us. We had to put a floor lamp in the bathroom for a light which is not very safe. We were told that the maintenance person was called but never showed up to fix the light. Made for a very disappointing night.

Dirty hallway, dirty towel left in bathroom, door frame came out of wall, extremely noisy air conditioner, elevater felt like it would fall down with huge drops, stsined bedding, rude desk staff with no concept of customer service, mold in corners of bathroom, toilet rocked when you sat down. This was thexwirst hotel ever!

Awful stay, disgustingly dirty, and needs major up

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was rock hard. The carpet was disgustingly filthy. When we used the elevator, it made this horrible clunking sound, and actually before we left, it wasn’t working at all. So we had to schlep our luggage down the stairs. The whole place should have been refurbished about 20 years ago. We booked a room for two people, but were given only one set of towels. We asked for another set, and they said that they’d send it up. However, my husband had to go down the next morning to get another set of towels. Very, very disappointed in the hotel.

We didnt actually stay here. They were understaffed and the front desk clerk was very kind. She got hollered at by a disgruntled gentleman who went to 3 rooms that were dirty. We opted to not stay there. She said she couldnt refund us due to us booking with a 3rd party. Then Expedia said the couldnt refund us without talking to the hotel that they conveniently couldnt contact. Save your money and just book through the hotel, Expedia is a joke. We couldve been refunded at the desk if it wasnt for Expedia.

Black Hills trip

A quick overnight stop between visits to Badlands, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy horse and then heading to Devils Tower. Great location that is very close to the city park and trail system.
